This particular concert is one of the best live concerts of all time.
The whole concert “En toute intimite” is for me one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Lara Fabian is an exceptional artist.
Lara is one my favorite singers. Her amazing voice, her emotions and performances are incredible. Thanks for another reaction to her.

This concert is named: en toute intimité, which means: In (very) intimacy…That’s why she’s dressed like this and sings « softly »… especially with this song, she sings it very differently in other concerts (lot of beltings)…
Lara is on the same level as Celine Dion and other great singers of that time... Lara and Celine made both there carriere at the same time...The years 80-90-2000 until now... ...Many soft singing, only whit a piano or gitare, like Lara sang here Celine does not do......

She had many different versions with many different styles but you picked my favorite, the most delicate and subtle, from this amazing En Toute Intimité concert.

One thing that makes Lara unique, even from Celine, is that every syllable, of every word, in every line, of all the lyrics, is sung clearly, completely, for all to hear and understand, no matter what language she is singing in !
Celine Dion is a very great singer, but she is a bitch ....Lara Fabian is a dream woman

The < Je t'aime> song you had in mind is
Original version was with Brigitte Bardot and not Jane Birkin. As it created troubles with Brigitte’s husband, it was not released until many years later. So Serge recorded again a couple years later with his girlfriend Jane Birkin and it was the first version exposed publicly.
