Actually, this is the only time we see Brian, John and Roger playing this live!

Elis MC When?

it was the only time Queen with Freddie Mercury Stopped playing live in 1986 They didn't tour the last two albums because of Freddie Deteriorating health the problem was the timing they didn't rehearse it enough its not an easy song to play live most of the other songs had been out for years and played live to perfection this one wasn't simple and the first time they rehearsed it was probably sound check
He’s not perfect, but but he puts his heart into it ❤️
That's what sets Robert apart from soo many modern autotuned house-plants. He has agency, he Is creative, he Is never stagnant. And he always brings his free-spirited passion into his music
@@tanyatrejo6627 mr. Plant sure ain't no houseplant 😂
@@tanyatrejo6627computers and autotune have sterilized modern music. Before, pitch-perfect music was hard to achieve. Now, it's easier than ever, but the imperfections were what made the music "real"
Innuendo did remind me of Kashmir the first time I heard it, but to have the actual Robert Plant sing it and mix up the lyrics is surreal 🤣🤣🤣
Innuendo is clearly inspired by Led Zeppelin´s Kashmir
Such an awesome song by Queen, performed for the first time live with the great, Robert Plant, infused with melodies of Kashmire. IMO, one of the greatest songs ever performed live. Absolutely beautiful!
It sounds terrible, Innuendo is a hard rock/metal song. And Plant sings it like he always does.. blues [rock]
@@wdlkmpx I strongly disagree. I thought Plant did an amazing job. However, my opinion can't make you like it, and your entitled to your own.
@@tedcabanaHe didn't do a great job either and he asked for it to be removed from the DVD
@@viniciuscreeper I cant imagine why. I thought he was awesome. No matter what he, or stick-up-the-ass critics think. It was a great performance.
@@tedcabana He do his best, but innuendo needs more than the best
It's clear why this has always been kept off official releases due to number of mistakes made, both technical and human. But it's such as shame because this still remains the most interesting piece of the entire concert.
LeftHandedGuitarist fuck ups are usually interesting in hindsight.. at the moment this was broadcasted Live I cringed... bad timing, lyrics fucked up... I wonder what Plant was thinking when rehearsed this one...
LeftHandedGuitarist easy to try something simple but this was a great idea to mix it with Kashmir and also Thank You was great. mistakes are what live music great. It makes it real.
LeftHandedGuitarist let alone...Plant's voice has been shot for a few decades now...thus records with AK etc..
It's ''Innuendo'' man... there is no person who can deliver that song.. not even Robert Plant
Oh, snap, crackle, pop!
1:06 Roger is like: WTF???
also 1:57, very angry!!
😵 lol
@@Markus-en4wn why?
It's called years and years of hardship with your voice, that mixed with him not knowing the lyrics and technical problems. It happens sometimes! Still his heart is all there. He makes a beautiful tribute to his friend. Let's all agree that Robert's worst performance is better than the best of most artists nowadays
I’m actually crying lmao brian is casually shredding it on one of the best solos i’ve ever seen while robert plant is sucking it up
🤓
@@adrianyourlordandsaviour👶
Here is the thing. There are mistakes with innuendo but vocally, the spirit of things it sounds great. Plant loved freddy. He was nervous about playing this but overall it sounds great. It's the emotion and spirit of this song and every performance that made this show the best concert in history. Robert cooks with queen during crazy little thing called love. If you can't see that then your a pathetic hater. Queen and zeppelin two incredible legends.
gregory Glosan FreddIE.
Freddie not FreddY
The only person who hates this performance is Robert himself.
@@gilbertorodriguezmunguia3773 and Brian . Look at his face at the end.
Both bands were awesome. they were very good friends with one another. they were both used to their own music, but enjoyed paying tribute to each other in memory of their band mates Freddie and Bonzo. it was also all in fun, so nobody should knock it. they both did a good job. Zeppelin and Queen both made their place in music history.
This video it's not included on the DVD because Robert Plant didn't like his performance!!!
were there any other songs done that weren't on the dvd?
Othraerir I dont know!
I'm glad he didn't....this is terrible. He fucked up on every single possible level.
How was this recorded then?
Paul Young was also disastrous IMO. Wrong choice of song
Brian's face says it all 6:16 and here guys it is shown that in records you can be a genius but if you don't have discipline on stage it's not the same
And Robert Plant in Rolling Stones lists is in higher position than Mercury as singer 🤣🤣🤣 Or Madonna is higher than Queen and Pink Floyd 😆😆
THIS MAGAZINE AND THESE RANKINGS ARE FAKE 🎶🎶😎😎🤮🤮
who has no discipline?
he knows it was shit. Fact. I agree.
@@santangelogaia19 unluckily Freddy Mercury didn't reach the age to sing like a shit

Dr. Brian May nailed it!!! His talent is beyond words...

@@Hellwyck Lol, I was there and wondered the same thing. Brian doing his lead riff after the disaster was awesome, perfect and loud. Best moment of the concert.
Hey dude Plant...
Its a difficult song that only Freddie is able to do. He made complex songs. He was a genious. Robert Plant have Even stated that Bohemian Rhapsody is much better then Stairway to Heaven.
Anyone watching and everytime hoping there won't be any mistakes? One and only live performance. You had one job Robert...
I kinda feel bad for Robert
He's a legend
Robert uncharacteristically having an 'off' day. Poor guy...
Roger & Brian both scrued up on this...
Robert’s voice was already fucked up by 1992, so they should have picked someone better for this particular song
I hardly see how it was Robert’s fault that the mic was off for half of the fucking thing and hardly worked for the rest of it. Innuendo is about the emotion put into it and Plant put all the emotion on gods green earth into this performance. Freddie loved Robert and considered Zeppelin to be a massive influence, in fact not a massive influence THE main influence behind Queen
Just to see and hear Robert Plant and Brian May together on stage was a rock and roll moment.
No kidding!!! A gift from the gods!
So true! And look at all of that lovely hair! 😆
The 90s: when Robert Plant still thought he could sing like he could in the 70s.
Because he didn t used falsetto like Paul McCartney or Freddie Mercury. But paul Mccartney is a better example. He isn t the best singer, but he could do great things with his voice and 50 years later he still sound like he was 25
@@francogiacche. Freddie Mercury in the eighties could sing as well as in the 70s only that his voice changed but for a way in which it was more raspy and powerful
@@francogiacche. There's no falsetto in Innuendo

Despite the lack of interest in learning the lyrics, Robert did such an amazing job at singing Innuendo. His voice was perfect for the song, not like Freddie's, of course.
dude he did it so awful hahaha and i like robert plant very much, but it sound like a completely different song
@@zetacoremusic in his defense, innuendo is just a major pain in the ass to sing in the original key, no matter who sings it, if im being honest, I don’t believe Freddie in the 1980’s could sing it, if you listen to the 89 demo of innuendo you’ll hear how strained Freddie sounded. Ti emoziona una pessima performance, con la canzone non studiata? Lo stesso Plant ha richiesto che venisse eliminata dal dvd!
This makes me sad because we never got to see Freddie sing innuendo live he would have nailed it if he'd had the chance ❤️ I miss you Freddie Mercury.
Strongly doubt it, the song is difficult to sing anyways in the right key, and considering Freddie was a 45 year old sickly man I highly doubt he would have been able to sing it better than Plant here
This song was perfect for Plant to sing, such an underrated song!!
This has to be a joke 😂😂😂

Freddie is surely proud of one of his Masters.
Este traspié en absolutamente nada empaña su impecable y prolífica carrera, siendo una de las más grandes estrellas del rock de todos los tiempos e influencia de los más grandes como del mismo freddy mercury.
So touching that Plant was reciting Kashmir in it as this was the inspirational song for Innuendo
When i watched it at the time "i thought wtf... first opportunity to hear this one live ando Robert sings like that, misses the lyrics, what a waste"... but now... almost 30 yeas later i find it pretty good, even with mistakes, he made it sound like a Queen meets LedZep thing... singing it in a Kashmir mood, very oriental... and the band is fantastic... the worst point imho is the microphone not working in the beggining.... i'd love to hear Robert Starting the song with his powerful "uuhhh-uhhhh"...
If Steve Perry sing this song Freddie Mercury will be happy in heaven.
Steve Perry wouldn’t even sing Journey songs by this point. Also Freddie was an admirer of Robert Plant and vice versa
My favorite band ever playing a song I have never heard by the legendary Queen! I’m completely blown away!
I love how Robert has his wee tambourine with him for this and the nod to Kasmir, great vid, thanks for sharing
So thats why Roger and Brian don't perform this song anymore. Damn Robert Plant could have learned the Lyrics for that. He screwed up badly
Innuendo es una obra de arte , lamentablemente la presentación de Robert Planta en ese momento no fue la mejor , pero eso no quiere decir que Robert no sea uno de los mejores cantantes de la historia del rock

I remember this being much worse as a kid. Considering it's out of Plant's range and the original is a masterpiece... it really wasn't that bad an attempt. Also awesome to see Brian, Roger and John play this live for the first and last time.
Yeah, shame that Plant did lost his voice. If he was in his prime he would kill that song. Also, I heard that Plant got a flu just before the concert, which doesn't help the situation. And you can hear it actually, that he struggles with the notes that are usually well within his range.
I saw Queen a few months ago with Lambert and I was disappointed to not see them do this song live. Lambert could have easily taken it (Plant's rendition of it is horrible IMO).
