Hi Dom! Can you do a follow up video where you show your wash day one week before your next relaxer? 7-8 weeks in or however long you stretch between relaxers. I would like to see your wash day dealing with the new growth and the demarcation line while styling. Not many CZcamsrs show that. Thanks in advance!

You have got it all sorted out beautifully. I do not moisturize and seal unless my hair gets wet. I combine Joico and Mizani shampoos and deep conditioning treatments and it has been working great. My latest addition I am obsessed with is Aunt Jackie's quench leave-in, it moisturizes and strengthens without weighing down. Also As I am moisturizer and finally Joico Kpak lustre oil. These products keep my hair moisturized and soft until wash day. I do use more liquid or foam leave-ins in the summer the Joico K Pak foam and the Design Essentials Bamboo leave-in.

Hi! I've loved your videos and they are very informative and encouraged me to research the products I'm using so that I'm being intentional. I've focused on using what works for my hair type- low density, medium porosity. This is an interesting combo especially as a black woman lol. Here's what I love:
    - Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo
    - Oribe Gold Lust Conditioner
    - Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum
That's it. These provide the perfect balance of cleansing, moisturizing, and protection for my scalp and strands. I never would've gone in this direction without inspo from your videos! I did try the Ouai conditioner and the olaplex bonding oil, and they were too strong for my hair such that my hair felt like straw ☹️ That goes to show that all these products are definitely not one size fits all and I'm glad you mentioned that. I am grateful I tried them and I think other people should trt them also. My hair is a bit finicky so I'm not surprised they didn't work for me 🤗. Thanks for everything Dom! Blessings 🙏💞

Phenomenal video! Here are my questions:
    1) In this video you did not use a leave in that require heat, how often do you do that, only post relaxer, when you have new growth, or it depends?
    2) Some deep conditioners suggest 1-5 minutes but in previous videos of yours and other YT Healthy Relaxed channels, it’s suggested to keep the DC in for 15-30 minutes and use a heat cap. Now that you have more experience with your hair, do you still follow that practice with other DC or do you follow the bottle?
Lastly, continue to THRIVE girl and be used to help others. I’m still grateful I found your hair videos a couple of years ago. You have helped me to love the skin I’m in, take care of myself, and enjoy life. I also love the idea of doing a mask while waiting on my hair to air dry. So many nuggets in this video.

    1) Kerastase Genesis Anti-Hair Fall Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner (one of the only Kerastase products without protein!)
    2) Amika Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask
(I wash it off with cold water to seal the moisture

    3) tgin miracle repairx protective leave in conditioner
    4) Kerastase Elixir Ultime Hydrating Oil (sooo good to seal in moisture!)/ or jojoba oil.

Someone told me to use turmeric, but it ruined my towels 🥺and stained my sheets and bathtub. I appreciate any suggestions and tips ➡️except for turmeric. Thank you.

Hi 👋🏾 I have a suggestion for you regarding #7. Exfoliating 1-2 per week with Neutrogena’s Body Clear Body Scrub. It is sooooo good but do not over use it. Only once per week, or twice maybe. Use it with a cheap cotton washcloth (not plush). You will feel and see a difference in your skin after the first use. Be sure to moisturize and use sunscreen with SPF 15 if your elbows aren’t covered when outside. Do not lean on your elbows because that makes them darker. Watch/lower your sugar intake as that can darken melanin in the skin as well. If you shave your underarms be sure to use good razors, be gentle and replace them often. I had laser hair removal on my underarms and it was the best thing ever! Now I only have to shave them once a month. But I still use the scrub to exfoliate the skin there and prevent and darkening. (Actually I use the scrub all over my body and I love it!) If you decide to get laser hair removal look for a place that uses the nd:YAG laser which works best for brown skin tones.

Hi Dominique, can you do a video at some point about how to look after your hair during the holidays. I tried putting the method of wetting my hair, putting conditioner on before going into the sea then washing it when I return to the hotel but my hair broke off really badly. Do you really need to wash your hair every day when you go into the sea or is there a better day?
