- Hey Beautiful! I was recently in a Japanese Drama called 「彼女が恋した職人さん」(Kanojo ga Koishita Shokunin san) which basically translates into 'Craftsman who she fell in love'. I played the character Mary マリーコーデリー。

japanese dramas are just like live action animes lol it's like the exact same thing, even the body lenguage, it's amazing how the acting it's so much different of the one here, i'm really amazed of how you captured all the emotions and reactions of a japanese actress, i mean it must have been very hard considering that you're not from there

Taylor is so naturally pretty and super talented! She also has such a nice personality, that isn't contrived or forced to be cute in her videos. Not like the other white girls trying to be "kawaii models" in Japan... you guys know who I'm talking about.

I'm about to move 5 hours away from the place I became an adult. I am rewatching old Tay videos as I pack up my place where I first watched them. It's so nostalgic. I miss these days but it's also so nice to see how much Taylor has grown over the years too.

You did amazing! Congratulations, again! This was really interesting! It's amazing how hard actors/actresses have to work. I don't think I could go on 4 or 5 hours of sleep for multiple days in a row like that.
The kaga yuzen was my favorite part. They're so beautiful and it's incredible how hard all of the shokunin work! I'd only ever seen Takenaka-san in sort of, mean roles like his character in Youkoso Wagaya he, so it was cool to see him play such a different character and to hear what he's like in real life.
This was such a great video. Thank you kindly for sharing with us all. Your video depicts the work ethic in Japan which is amazing! I hope you're super proud of yourself.

yes every time I acted in a scene they asked me to be more extreme, my character was really over the top excited all the time.. Japanese acting is sometimes quite different and unique like this
Yeah I actually noticed that for a lot of Japanese dramas or movies! It is pretty unique though haha I usually perfer dramatic acting in Kdramas o3o/

I prefer it that way since I got used to it.
dramas are over the top I know this because of kdramas. some dramas have this If the hurt them then they are driven to the hospital even if it is just a home treatable they always end with drama I guess that is what they prefer.

Ugh and I know those post-show feels. I've only done stage work, but bonding with the cast and crew so much, it's hard to think that it's over so fast!

Wahh! Even though they worked you hard and you had a lack of sleep, it looks like they provided you with good food and proper conditions. I wonder if that is normal for the Japanese acting industry since when it comes to the Korean entertainment industry everyone is penny pinching and doesn't provide any good food or good conditions for it's employees... I wonder what the Japanese acting industry is like compared to the Korean acting industry as far as overworking the actors and not providing proper conditions to work because I hear a lot of negative things about the latter.
Shmaples honestly even Hollywood actresses complain about set schedules. Gwyneth Paltrow & Katherine Heigel got chewed out bc they said they spend half days & sometimes 13 hours a day or away from her children. People were saying ohhh but u get paid soo well like millions & only work 3 months out of the year how can you complain etc. and they give the cast sandwiches from what I saw on grease musical remake just regular sandwich wraps, celery & carrot sticks. Like standard set food. When I was in musical theater we did work till 10pm and we just ordered fast food like Chinese at night
I doubt they would give bad food for the actors even if they have small parts. I mean she even had a manager with her to take care.
Where are you getting your information? I am so sick of people ragging on korean people. Insinuating things from one story cause (like every country) there are bad production companies and good ones.
