@@brianchan8 I'm serious, look it up. Despite being the second biggest pokemon, it's nowhere near the heaviest. One of the pokedex entries say it's lighter than air, which would make sense given the fact that it's the float whale pokemon.
So putting heavy slam on wailord makes ZERO sense, because heavy slams base damage is based on the pokemons weight. Now, curse + gyro ball is a good combination, because gyro ball gets stronger the slower you are vs your opponent. But wailord doesn't get gyro ball anyways.
This guy has a history of recommending shitty sets to people and acting like their innovative.

Nobody can disagree. The inventor of perish trap, once used a normalize skill swap team, eject button, and so much more. However, nobody can stop him, so we just kinda watch
The Problem was, that back in the days in Generation 1 to 5, it was nearly 0% to get the perfect Pokemon with the correct IVs, the correct Nature and sometimes even with the correct Hidden Power. But in Tournaments literally everybody used these perfect Pokemon. So they were obviously (or at least "most likely") hacked. And that was super stupid.
But Gamefreak noticed that, and so, it just got easier and easier in each Generation to make perfect Pokemon. Nowadays its just not necessary to hack Pokemon because its super easy to make them perfect.
Thanks to Exp. Candys, Mints, Bottle Caps and Vitamins, I can theoretically choose every Pokemon I want in my Box and "transform" it to a perfect competetive Pokemon in maybe 10 Minutes. I love Geamefreak for that.
Back in at least Gen 5, there were ways to manipulate the RNG of encounters and eggs through known glitches. So, it was possible to receive those Pokémon both without hacking and without spending impossible amounts of time.

@@HoseB932 the only Pokémon he used that was for sure hacked in 2016 was a raichu. It was gen 6 he had his raichu in a love ball and it had endeavour which is a EGG move. For sword and shield I don’t think he hacked but the raichu ha had was literally impossible to get before gen 7.

Or are we really going to ignore the QoL additions they added? The only hard thing that is there is left is getting 0IV in attack for your special attackers and that's more an inconvenience then a real problem.

I caught my G-Zapdos in a Fast Ball on my first attempt AND it had a Mark without me actively looking to get any of the G-birds with a Mark. It is not that uncommon. The person in question has been such a toxic person in the Pokémon community for years now. I hadn't seen anything about the guy in ages, but the moment you started talking about them I was like "oh yeah, the toxic furry kid".
Like you said, things like the Incineroar can be farmed in half an hour. I actually got a brand new Incineroar competitive-ready two days ago and it took me even far less than half an hour. This guy just feeds off negativity, so it's good that you don't mention his name and encourage others not to. @@doodlebob3374 “hackers are always this lazy”. That’s bloody hilarious, have you even tried getting Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno on a second account? You likely need a master ball for each, so you have to complete the game, which is a tedious process. Following that you also need to get all the way to the battles with them, extremely slow with all the text and cutscenes. As for the bottle caps, vitamins, ability changing items, they are all pretty rare and require a decent bit of grinding to get. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly lazy, and is in fact more difficult than just breeding a 6 IV Pokemon, giving it one of the power items and Pokerus.
None explain every damn member of every team he ever uses or wins with having perfect IVs...which have you ever tried to breed one 😂😂. How about soft resetting for a legendary with pIVs? Shit takes forever...alll the pros cheat. Aint no way they have a team ready at a moments notice for any meta all with pIVs.....lol also those things tbat make comp easier didnt exist when dude was winning worlds and qualing all the time.

This is reminding me that I caught over 90+ gmax Snorlax's when it was available (before gmax soup) in the game for a 0 speed IV for Glitch 8's VGC tourney (and it got me 3rd!!). But it's totally possible, especially when you can test your ideas on Showdown before wasting your time grinding for anything. Hell I remember IV breeding during Gen 4, now that was terrible LOL
I haven't played competitively on console since Gen 4 (just Showdown and challenge runs since) -- did they make it less of a nightmare in the newer gens?

I see no reason to hack in gen 8 games because; you can use EV raising items infinitely, boost IVs with hyper training, easily get hidden abilities with Dynamax Raids and Ability Patches, and use Mints to change natures. Hell, if you're transferring up Pokémon, you can bring them to ladder by talking to some dude in the Battle Tower. Not to mention how much more streamlined Egg Moves are in these games.
Almost my entire team is fully EV/IV trained (probably with trash spreads) and I don't even play competitively. What is the point of hacking in a game that has CASUAL players fully training their teams?

For a simple explanation, G-Moltres is usually run in a Timid or Modest nature. Gentle is a pretty bad/not great nature for it, but if you catch a good IV Moltres with a Gentle nature, you could just change it in game with Nature Mints. Basically it’s not worth hacking in a bad nature Moltres and then changing it in game when you could just hack in a good nature Moltres.

To anyone who heads over to said person's channel, make sure you don't dislike the video(s). Disliking on youtube has just as much of a positive effect on the algorithm as liking does. Don't reward them for using their platform to write a hit-piece on someone. (Also probably not a good idea to head over there in the first place, don't harrass back).
I like how everyone's going along with Wolfey to not call out on this "guy" but we know exactly who he's talking about. Wolfey became more famous than ever and that's good.
It's probably for the best that we never refer to that man's name ever so he'll become the thing of the past and we never look back on him.

Well the guy in question is really infamous. if you watch any Pokémon content creator you probably know about him cause he's probably attacked them in the past. Matter of fact I can't think off the top of my head a notable content creator he hasn't attacked. But that's how he grows an attempts to stay relevant. He attacks a channel with a growing/bigger base so he can siphon off their fans.
I got a perfect 6IV shiny Necrozma out of Dynamax Adventures after farming it for over a week, so yeah, unlikely stuff totally happens. I feel like the guy just wants attention off of your first place. Such a scummy move.

I mean, I think probably a good half of the competitors hack their mons. But tbh, it’s not an issue. In a competitive situation, the only variable should be in-game RNG. As long as the mons are legal, I see absolutely no issue with it. The players should be able to showcase their skill, and not just rely on being able to spend 10x more time in the game than another person.
There should be a separate mode with a different set of rules. The dude who made the hacks themselves called him out along with everyone else. Nobody cares, there's just no point in blatantly lying about it. 💁♂️
It breaks Pokemon’s rule. The system is corrupt and enables people to break it’s rules.
which is why the current VGC tournament format is broken, i can remember the golden days where nationals meant everyone hauls their gameboy color, latest game cartridge and a link cord to an event, and have a swiss round using their in-game team. no hacking, no bs, just good ole grinding to get to level 99 or 100, and hope the opponent doesn't have a better team..

The fact of the matter is the same people that played in gen 1 are the people playing now in gen 9, and those people are older and have less time to dedicate to games. Allowing hacked mons would completely rejuvenate the scene, because hundreds or thousands of additional players will now be able to find the time to assemble and practice with their teams.
@jories0829 I made my first VGC team this year in SwSh. It took maybe a weekend of distracted and unoptimized build setup. If you have an internet connection you can literally go to Serebii and Bulbapedia to see guides on what in-game tools you need or where to spend in-game resources. It is now largely trivial to build legitimate competitive teams.

OT is no proof of hacked Pokemon. When you do hacking, you can easily create Pokemon using your own Player ID, Name and Language, when you know what you are doing its nearly impossible to identify such Pokemon without deep data analyses.

What does mint mean
You can obtain Nature mints in Sword/Shield that change the nature of any pokemon you feed it to.
For example... if you had a... idk, Calm Natured Machamp (which is -Attack, + Special Defense), and you wanted to change the nature... you give it the Adament Mint, thus changing it's nature.
@@iamfabled8171 Mints are a thing you use in-game to change the nature of a pokemon. The point being made here is why go through the trouble of changing the nature with in-game methods if you're hacking it anyway? The hacker would just be able to change the nature during the hacking process.
