Omg I absolutely 10000 percent agree with you about the annoying publishing thing. I was listening to this while driving and couldn't comment but the whole time I was like "OMG YES! " I do NOT want the movie cover on my books and get so angry when it's the only copy a bookstore has!

Omg 3:46 I completely agree that THE most annoying thing is when the entire thing could be resolved by a conversation. That they don't have. Until the end.

You're so right about Movie Posters on books! They ruin the crazy things your Brain decides to make the characters look like! 😂

Exactly!! Even worse though is when the author describes the character and it's different than how I pictured the character. And then I have to mentally block out the author's own description. 😂
Miscommunication trope is the worst 😫 one of the main reasons I can’t get into COHO books
It's been a while since I've read any CoHo! But definitely not a fan of the miscommunication. One of the most annoying things a book can do in my opinion! haha!
I agree, the whole movie/book tie-in is so annoying! Show me some great art on a book cover, or just a great design.I don't want to see actors depicted on the book covers!

I avoid spoilers as much as possible!! I love going into a book completely "fresh" And i try to be as vague as i can when reviewing books esp on video
Yesss, same here! If I put any spoilers in my videos, I time stamp clearly so people can opt out. Nothing worse than being hit with a spoiler you didn't ask for! 😂

I didn't realize that the publishers are the reason for the movies adaptations for the books. I'm OK with it having a movie but please give me my normal book covers 😭 I'm one of those people who don't enjoy realistic/photographic book covers -- especially if it's movie referenced. I like to imagine my characters myself so we're the same in that aspect!!
I'm sorry for being someone who's always a spoiler person 😂 I personally am not good at describing anything; def not as eloquent as you are. But in person, I definitely know that there are people who hate spoilers (lmao my husband), so I always ask beforehand before I go deep in. Otherwise a simple "idc, read it" is my go to response LOLOL.

I agree.... even if it's not from a movie and it's just a stock photo of people, I don't prefer that on a cover. Keep it between me and my brain please and thank you! 🤣
Haha well I know that people usually are just excited about what they read and want to talk about it. But as long as you ask beforehand for non-spoiler people, I think you're good!
