- After Capatin levi gets hit with the Thunderspike blast from point blank range he is passed out with a huge scar on his face from his chin to his eye with wood splinters stabbing his face. he seems to have lost a lot of blood and also lost two of his fingers. all while Zeke regenerates his body and is alive now. When hange sees him she is shocked and rushes to protect him and run away by swimming in the river with him. So that the scouts and zeke dont kill him.

I think this scene will stay with me. The disrespect those scouts showed... That man fought harder than anyone for their future and the ONE time he needs _them_ to help _him_ the only thing they do is say "Great, now let's shoot him to be sure!" I don't care how big of a threat Levi was to them or how much strategic sense it makes for them to want him dead, it will never make this seem any less ungrateful to me. People really are so quick to toss others away when they no longer need them...

Levi freaking deserved better. And I don’t just mean this scene. Through the entire series he has suffered loss after loss and somehow he finds he strength to keep pushing forward. And yet life just keeps finding a way to spit back in his face.
I know! I just got to the last episode and was probably way more annoyed than I should have been with little things. The poor guy can't even save a child from an angry mob without said child robbing him. It's almost like that universe has it personally against him. At every turn, he has to receive some form of punishment
It's not life, it's the stupid evil people he's fighting that keep doing cruel things. Levi is facing some very strong adversaries and no ordinary people could stand up against it.

i mean, look at levi, he was blown up into bits, lost every. single. person. who was dear to him, not one was spared, petra, hanji, isabel, eren (kind of) his entire squad, his entire squad again! and ERWIN AAAAAAAAAA. look at mikasa, lost her parents, lost carla and grisha, AND EVEN LOST EREN GOD DAMN IT, and whats more is that she was the one who had to kill him. kenny also had a pretty shit life but nowhere near as sad as levi's.

Hange's feelings were showed clearly in the anime. You can experience her pain in the manga too, but the anime did better. The silence in the start, the water feeling from her chin, her shocked and broken face, you can clearly understand her feelings well for her closest person.
The anime really did this scene absolute justice. Her feelings looking at Levi are so palpable and heart-wrenching.

Hange has been my fave, but watching this scene makes me give more respect to her. Imagine, she's trapped with the Yeagerist, saw Levi in his worst shape ever and Zeke being still alive after all. Imagine how hard and hopeless the situation was for her. Yet she swallowed all the fear, took the only guy she can call "home" and saved him. She risked everything at this point. I fucking love Hange
agreed. She is literally such a good character and I love how all of the main AOT characters aren’t just one personality trait. Hange may have once only been the titan fanatic but she became so much more, even if she was passionate in her work she was deeply loyal to her people and pushed on through her sorrows for the good of humanity just like Levi. It’s amazing how well attack on titan portrays perseverance.

It’s so funny as well because some people want to get mad at the Alliance for killing their own comrades. But this here I believe shows that some of the Yeagerists don’t have a problem either with killing people that are against them, even if it’s their own comrades. They had no problem threatening people like Hanji with their guns if she didn’t cooperate with them.
