As you already know that before the walls were made, the whole world was being tormented by the eldians using the power of titans. But, Karl Fritz felt guilty of what his ancestors did and thus, he used the power of the founding titans to built those walls and told the world to not disturb their peace or those walls titans will flatten the whole earth(which was of course not his intention and was just a bluff). He wanted to atone for the sins of eldians and thus he would willingly accept attacks from the outside world and destroy the eldians.
Karl fritz's will was inherited or so by the next founding titans inheritors. Even if they want to use the attack titans power, they still cannot do it (because of karl fritz will) to save the eldians.

@@Young_Dab From my POV, he can't, its a fixed timeline and the thing called "fate" or "determined future" is made by eren's desires, which are freedom and the happiness of his friends, his choices are technically pre-determined by his nature, there is no change, it "happens because it happened". If you were to look from "outside" I suppose a comparisson would be on one hand you view yourself turning left and another turning right, but since in this series timeline is fixed, both can't be true, whatever happened and happens is fixed, the "left" or "right" happens and its already set, now you gotta remove the POV of "outside" and think that whatever choice appears to exist it's already determined by "god's" (Ymir/Eren) desire.
The gate to the pigs will never not be open, the rumbling is always happening.
Fascinating since its a paradox on the concept of free-will and what Eren wants, which is freedom. And he does get it, by his friend's actions, supposedly death is the end, thus ... freedom I guess.

@@wanderingbufoon Nop, that was just a vision Time stuff in any genre is really hard to comprehend and understand but I think AoT has the best "system" for it. The attack titan can't read its *own* future, so Eren can't send memories back to his younger self (he is still the same inheritor) so he sends it to his dad which he then gets the memories back from through paths (such as when Reiner and Galliard touched and Galliard got Porco's memories.).
TL;DR you can't call yourself but you can call someone else to then share your voice mail with you later.
I think Alex had it right, AT can set things into motion through time itself if the future inheritor so wills it- it is just a question of how the past will get to the future.

Just realized something interesting... the whole reason the attack titan shows glimpses of future attack titans is because Eren is touching someone of Royal blood along with possessing the founding titan which allows him to be in the past, present, and future. That is the attack titans trait but it was EREN the whole time showing past attack titans small glimpses of the future to manipulate them all to lead up to the rumbling.
It's not just some trait that comes with the attack titan but rather it was Eren and his manipulation from the start from the very first attack titan all the way to him to bypass the kings vow and start the rumbling.
That's why Kruger was confused when he said Armins and Mikasas name when he was speaking to Erens dad before giving him the attack titan, it was Eren the whole time from the very beginning.

He talks to Zeke about her asking him if Ackermans are subconsciously compelled to defend their host, since ya know the Yaegers saved and adopted her. But Zeke tells him that Ackermans are just incredibly gifted fighters , they aren't biologically compelled to protect anyone. "Maybe she's doing it because she likes you so much".
Eren sighs and replies to this saying it doesn't matter anyway because he' only got 4 years left until he dies. So even if he did have feelings for her, what could he do?

Eren is clearly inspired by the characters of Muad'Dib and Leto II (III) from the DUNE novels. His "evil" actions are part of what in DUNE Muad'Dib calls "a terrible purpose". In order to save humanity and be free, sacrifices have to be made and the people are supposed to unite against a common "Evil". This was also used in Code Geass, but in the case of the Future and Past sights, it's clearly a DUNE thing which was also used in GOTs.

Apparently most of the media he said he was inspired were of Japanese origin (makes sense considering language barrier).

If you were Zeke right then and there, you would be shitting yourself, because everything you've ever done, was already pre-planned from the very beginning, from your birth, to your childhood, to your adulthood. Everything, so long as there is an attack titan to inherit the power, not even the founder can see, minipulate, and force actions forward nor likely see those from the future nor interact with them in any way.

It is generally said by eren Kruger (correct me if I'm wrong) that the only titan that can foresee the future is the attack titan. And the only dilemma of it is, eren doesn't possess royal blood (and eldian with the royal blood, only knows the vow of the king fritz, after the passing of the founding titan). And the only one that can decide for the future is the attack titan (which is currently in Eren's possession). At the time Eren kissed Historia's hand, that's where the future makes sense to him. So there's a possibility that the story of AOT is based on Eren's future decision. So I guess not a huge plot twist, but a huge realization in the story that everyone (including me) didn't even realize, because it didn't make sense at the beginning.

0:42 his eyes along with his face in the background before that really showed that he wasn’t finna take or listen to the bs she was saying to his father in front of him, this scene really had my eyes wide open when I first seen it 😳

Zeke always thought Eren is the victim- But it's turned out- Grisha is the real victim-

One slight problem, and I'm sure its obvious to some of you. The attack titan can access the memories of its future host, it can see the future. This is how eren corrupted his father.HOWEVER! Since Eren isn't seeing any FUTURE hosts memories beyond his own victory at the end of the current season, its pretty damn evident that the attack titan does not survive beyond eren, which likely means that all titans are gonna be wiped out. Did-did eren not question why he couldn't see future attack titan host memories?!

That's a good question but Eren has both Attack and Founder powers. He used Attack powers to see past and future and used Founder power to let his predecessors only see what he wants to show. Attack Titan can set a 'fixed' future. So the past events were just adjusted according to it. In parallel world there can be another successor but since Eren got both powers at once he changed the future and set past events according to it. So now in reality there is no successor. Its a paradox. In other words, if Gabi didn't shoot Eren head off and it fell on Zeke's hands, they wouldn't have connected. This is the point of time at which Eren changed the alternate future. This episode is actually the beginning of everything. It's a grandfather paradox

I think the Attack Titan was never a Titan with any powers. It was the only Titan that Eren *chose* to send future memories to when he got founder powers.
Thinking about it, the attack Titan never was special. It only became special when Eren had Founder powers.

Eren has always been like this, he just switched enemies from titans to the world

Well, i would be like that as well, if someone made me kill many of my own kind without me even knowing, and then deciding to kill all the rest who is still alive.
