2023 GR Corolla - Door Sill Protectors Installed

This is a quick video with me installing the door sill protectors on my GR Corolla. I just did a quick measurement and stuck them down. It turned out great and is a quick easy way to not only protect the door sills and to make them look better.

crazy how they don't come with it stock. My Type R didn't have any, and I decided to go with a Vinyl carbon fiber peel /stick on, as opposed to the OEM "electronic" light up door sill. They don't make cars like they used to...old 90's, 2000's. My s2000 came with door sills. So did my 07 GTI.

Very true. It's little things like this that it's easy to miss and not realize that aren't there but should be. All other cars I've bought had some type of door sill protector. I had PPF installed on all of the door sills on my GR Corolla when I first got it so that is on them under the door sill protectors too.

How are you liking the GR, Jim? Is Silvia getting much attention these days?

I absolutely love my GR Corolla but Sylvia will always be in my heart. Since I built Sylvia to be what she is I'll always have a special place in my heart for her. The same can be said for Emma, my 2017 Corolla iM. The GR Corolla is an amazing car though and gets more amazing as I drive her more. I just need to name her. I'll be taking a 17 day road trip in Sylvia next month and experience the Tail of the Dragon for the first time since I turbocharged it. I can't wait!

How do you like that portable jack? Debating on getting something like that, but not sure how often I'd actually use them though
And yes, the fronts are the same but the rears are side-specific

I love my QuickJack. I’ve had it for about 6 years and have used it a lot. I’ll still use it for brake and suspension work too.

same size sills as the non GR ? ..I wouldn't care if they say GR and my nightshade isn't one

Should be since the GR is a standard Corolla HB underneath.
