I have to say I love your video probably because you’re running my favorite road name. I’m a Winter Village guy but had to have the Santa Fe running on my layout. You elude so much enthusiasm in this video, don’t ever loose the joy. I really like how you put the two train stations back to back. Can’t wait to see another car added to your consist.
So glad you enjoyed this! LEGO trains is what got me into this hobby and truthfully will always keep me here. I think I need to focus on sprinkling in more LEGO trains video as they bring me such joy and passion. Thank you for bringing this to my attention my friend, i really appreciate it! Reflection is the best source to growth and this means a lot!
Wanted to sprinkle some Christmas Joy by doing something Christmasy in the window of our condo. Dept.56 was too deep for the sill so I purchased the Winter Holiday Train and Santa’s Workshop. When I found out the train could be motorized I put some O gauge track on the sill with a Lionel Santa Fe F3 leading the way. Picked up two more buildings, a pair of crossovers and extra track to make a Super Deluxe Figure 8, my LEGO empire had begun.@@StudCity
The last car you purchased is called an observation car. Lego placed both horns facing forward, in real life and on all models one faces forward and the other to the rear.
@@StudCity oh totally worth it! I remember getting the maresk train after it retired and even though it was a little more expensive, it was worth every penny.
SWEET Christo!! I got the engine back in 2002 and decided to get the passenger cars at a later date. Big MISTAKE!! Great to see it running with a couple of cars behind the engine.
I just saw one of my old college professor's is selling his late father's Santa Fe with 4 cars with the boxes and everything for $1200.. I sure wish I hadn't dropped all my money on Black Friday deals..
Very cool!!! Sadly, that's one (it's actually several boxes as the engines and cars were boxed separately) of many sets I now fear to open whenever I look at my backlog.
Awesome video. My goal as a lego collector from the time that I started in 2009 at just 4 days after my 9th birthday was to always have a lego steam train in my collection and finally 12 and a half years later I got the lego holiday train added to my collection I have it powered but I need to work out some things in my city so it will run correctly. The other thing was to have all the modulars from 2013 to now and the only one I am missing is the brick bank from 2016 so that is my goal for the first half of next year. If I can't find it then I will just stick to double vip orders from lego and finish my city projects.

So happy for you to be able to expand your lego train collection (and kinda jelly)!
Thank you my friend! And i feel you, it was a tough price to swallow but what a joy that train brings me!

For me it is worth it tho what I did is I ordered all the pieces on pick a brick and the rare pieces on brick link it is a lot cheaper

The sets that make up the Santa Fe superchief are by far the best sets of 2002
agreed mayo!
Sweet train, how much cost the set in total?
i think on ebay 1 locomotive and all 5 passengers was $2500 complete
