Looks great Andy. I know you had help but honestly, you present it very well my friend. Great job.
Thank you Keith that’s much appreciated and a thoughtful comment, it can be difficult at times trying to do things with a psychical disability, I try not to go on about it if I can help it , but if I’ve had help it’s good to acknowledge it ;) take care
Whoever did that she'll done a top job and it looks great. Fair comment in the motor mount and good observation as to why 👍🏻
Cheers Damien I really wished I could remember the guys name as it bloody cool 👌 I think it fair coo , should have come with the mount and maybe even alloy servo mount or steering set. Cheers again mate
Great video
The paint on this buggy just blows my mind! Appreciate the spin as usual my friend.
Hi Jim hope your well. The guy who did it did a top job , far better than I could of. And it runs well to boot ;) win win cheers for watching
Great job on this one Andy thanks for the video
Hi Alex cheers for checking this one out , pleased you like it
I use copper brake pipe inside the plastic steering joints on the stock ones to make the bushes .just have to bore the holes out to 4.5 mm then use a 3 mm bolt all the way through the chassis to get rid of the step screws ….I’ve gone back to the stock drive shafts ends with the alloy shaft .I’ve had two of the ends shear off on the alloy ones where the bearing fits on the spur gear end ,all the bearings were still good too ,so I went back to the stock ones cos they are steel shafts ..and not had a problem since ..
What an awesome looking TT02 BR. Love that Mazda 787b livery and the car runs so smooth and quick!👍😊
Thank you , really pleased with it, looks good and goes nicely as well credit to the Dan who painted it. Cheers for taking the time to watch
Looks great Andy
Much appreciate Thad , thank you
Great looking TT02B Andy. I’ve just finished building a TT02B with every Available option and they end up a great driving Buggy.
Hey Adam hope your well, I do quite like the tt02b platform. You can get them to drive well. Did you go for oil gear diffs on yours ? I was impressed with them on mine, seem to be a much more reliable unit. Also the harder stiffer chassis helps give a good steering response. Take care fella
Lovely looking buggy
Thank you much appreciated fella :)
Hi Andy and OMG I love the paint job on this buggy, looks a treat! Sounds like you're pretty pleased with this BR, and I can see why. Yeah, my TT02B makes a horrible graunching sound when I brake hard, this new version sounds nice and smooth! All the best, fella! :)
Hi mate, glad your liking the paint job , the fella now called Dan did a great job on it. BR went really well so much better than I thought it would be as I’ve driven a fair few of them. The diffs are a big improvement for me, the xv02 units are a vastly better than previous models. If you ever get chance try the diffs ;) cheers for watching mark
WOW:..what A fantastic looking car this turned out to be.The Mazda 787B livery paint job suits it soooooooo well its not even funny. Looks like its running great too. And again..always a pleasure watchin your vids ,mate. I hope you and family are doing well :) Greetings from the CarDrummerViking from Norway ,Stefan :)
Awesome looking buggy Andy 🤩👍
Thanks Steve pleased you like chap
A really underatet kit. Normally, the rc channels rush over every new car, but not in this case. I think it's good.
Thanks much appreciated I think it’s a cool buggy as well , it went really well when I took it out, would like to do some more running with though maybe on track
Aces Andy I can’t find a thing wrong with this buggy and props to the camera operator for keeping it in the frame!!
Cheers Wade much appreciated fella thank you, glad you like it ;) my wife makes not a bad camerawoman does she ;)
Damn, that bodyshell looks amazing! And to be honest the TT-02BR seems to run really well, very smooth and handles very well. I still can't get over the price of the kit though....Awesome stuff as always mate, keep 'em coming!👍🙂
Cheers Barry , yes does still seem
Expensive for a tt02b , but it did put a smile of my face ;) it went well and I had no problem if slipping diffs under hard breaking which is good :) cheers mate ;)
That's really nice, Andy! It's a cool buggy, it seems to be doing well, and you're happy with it, plus the gear devil seems pleased, which is always good! I'm hoping to get some quality time with my TT-02B this summer, if it ever gets summer, ha ha... All the best, buddy!
Hey hey hope your well, ha ha gear devil ;) if you ever cha ge your diffs try these xvo2 ones they are really good and make a big difference on the tt02b
Just in case anyone is building one of these. Follow all the instructions except for one specific step when building them. The instructions say to put 3 internal damper limiters in the front and 4 in the rear. This is way too many internal spacers. i suggest Zero in the front and two in the rear. This is what my DT02 MS instructions state so its safe. You will get more travel in the shocks which is really needed. Failure to do this will cause chassis slap every single time even on the smallest jumps.
Hi Daniel cheers for the handy tip I’m sure it will be useful for people :)
The paint job looks phenomenal. To help thread the screws, you could put a little chap stick or grease on the screw threads before installing them into the chassis. How is the turning radius of this car? Any better/tighter than a standard TT02B (due to the new diffs)?
Thank you 🙏 Dan did a great job with it. Yes I though afterwards should of used sone grease or something first but my problem
Is also psychical as I have problems with my hands and arms. The Turing felt good having said that that the tyres I was using massively helped on the grass as well
It looks great and appears to drive really well! I will probably grab one of these eventually, they released too many things at once so I passed on this for others! I built one of my kits with the hard chassis and the screws do take a bit more to get in there but it is a solid chassis!
Excellent idea for a buggy paint job Andy suits it really well 10/10 😎🔥🔥🔥
Thank you , cheers for the great comment , glad you like it , I agree I think the paint really suits the buggy. Cheers ;)
That is one great looking buggy Andy, congratulations, cheers and best wishes AB.
Many Thanks, glad you like it, it’s turned out pretty well and I’m pleased so far
Love it Andy! I love the Tt02 and one of my favourite kits is actually the Tt02 SR!
Thank you Paul , I’m hopefully starting on
The TT02 SRX very soon as well
Double thumbs up. That looks brilliant🥰

Looks great Andy and love the body shell. Glad you are pleased with it. Maybe I should have got one in the end?? 😁
Cheers Craig , in of the next things are the oil
Gear diff from the xv02 the put the power down so we’ll ;) you could upgrade yours :) cheers for watching
Great paint job . It runs lovely. Great job mate 😊👍
Cheers Dom, thanks fella pretty pleased with how it’s turned out , it does drive really well ;)
Looks fantastic Andy!🙂👍
Cheers, appreciate it :)
Looks awesome, Andy. I'm intrigued by the nose cone on the body,it strangely reminds me of a Tomy Intruder.
Ha g he a yes it does a little , it’s just a little lexan cover , it’s more for show it wound probably come off during racing . Cheers for watching
Looks great! Well done 😎
Many thanks Brian much appreciated
Looks and runs great,I’m no expert to put it mildly but nice job Andy
Cheers Tony much appreciated, thanks for watching , glad you like it
Nice
Thank you Paul , glad you like it :)
Your 787b theme looks amazing.
Thank you very much :)
Amazing livery 😎, I’m very tempted to get this kit 😅🙌🏼
That looks MINT.!!! 👍 👍 👍
Hi Alan thank you cheers for watching
Hi Andy, I know it’s not the same car underneath the body but it looks great running around, it only ever sat on my shelf. Dan
Hi Dan, really sorry I couldn’t remember your name apologies. Cheers for watching, you did an absolutely top job of the body, looks superb! Thank you 🙏
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 no worries Andy, I’m just really pleased that you’re loving it and that many more people will get to see it through your channel 👍
Looks great running, does look like a decent buggy to run, i may have to revisit my idea of running one against modern race buggys 🤔
Hi Richard , it does run well and it’s better than the stock or MS version of the TT02B. Oil gear diffs are great. If you were to run it on a track with lots of big jumps it will loose out to the proper comp buggies but on an almost flat track like SL indoors or similar it would be pretty good for what it is. Cheers for watching as always :)
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 im still tempted to get one, are grass track aint to bumpy or jumpy 😎 see how the xz5 goes 1st 👍
@@andyrobinsonrc2480what would make it lose out to proper comp buggies?? The suspension and the size of the wheele and tires???
Those rims and the Color,🙂 OMG WOW looks good I thought it first who is wearing a handkerchief around his neck looking all gangster Andy Robinson swag who all the people in your neighborhood mr Robinson's neighborhood
Awesome episode Andy 😊 I think you sold it in for me, I think I have to get one of these kits as a runner. Does it come with a body too? 🤔🤷♂️
Yes it does! Jonas you get a neo scorcher body set plus 2 TRF racing wings as well , you get wheels but no tyres. Glad you like it, it’s a cool buggy
Whats the nose cone on the front from not a standard neo scorcher body love it
I like this car but everybody calls it a bargain car you pay $300 for the kit and then by the time you get decent electronics here at 6 or 7:00 not really a bargain but it does look
Not sure weather it’s a bargain as such , if your talking Tamiya then if you really wanted a modified TT02b then the BR version is worth a look at . All the option parts would cost way more if bought separately :)
Great videos and great review!!! Any way you can tell me the length x width x height of the battery compartment?
Thank you very much for watching the video, most appreciated. If I get chance I’ll try measure it up for you, I won’t promise though as I may not get round to it, got racing tonight and a million other things going on ;) take care
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 it's all good!!! Just trying to make sure my son's Traxxas 2s 5800 pack will fit so he can use it... Best of luck racing!!!! Keep up with the good content!!
This buggy is cool. I like what you did. Tamiya made it look cool. I'll get one and all the aluminum goodies to the steering. How did you make the nose cone?
Cheers :) the nose cone is just a bit of off cut lexan , I didn’t do the body for the buggy but it was so cool looking I knew what I wanted to do with it
What was used to make the front nose piece for the body?
can you put links to the extra parts you bought?: wheel, motor etc. thanks
I’ll try ;) the wheels were from
JCracing (uk) and are essentially 2.2 size hot shot wheels. Tyres are Schumacher Mezzo tyres in yellow compound the motor/esc combo was a reedy 3300kv motor out ifcsn associated RTR RB10 buggy. I hope that helps :)
Hello Andy.
Which tyres did you install on your rims?
Thanks.
Hello, cheers for your question, I used Schumacher mezzo tyres front and rear in yellow compound, although if your planning on racing it it’s always good to see what your club runs as a tyre choice. Cheers :)
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 Thanks Andy
What's the difference between this and the ungaro😊
Sorry ? Cheers for your comment but whsts a Ungaro ? Thank youi
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 pain associated makes another 14 scale buggy like this called the. Ongaro
