Very nice buildings, clean, anti-sceptic, and well-maintained but not the dark, gritty and a little crazy Bangkok I knew and loved. From what I have read in the WSJ and FT, the creation of this "new Bangkok" has been a conscious decision by both the local and national government, but quoting Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi", "they tore down paradise and threw up a parking lot"
The apartments and the views are really nice (especially to the river) but sometimes I wished they cancel one of the bedrooms and give all other rooms a bit more space.If you are an owner of an apartment like this do you know if it's allowed tochange the roomsetting inside an apartment? Most of the walls are mostly made with plaster walls, or?
It has those same cruddy semi white tiles that are used all over Bangkok. They get dirty and there is no cleaning them. They look cheap considering the price of the units.
I wish we could afford to live like this…I think I’d always feel like my parents were going to come home and yell at me for having parties and girls over while they were away!
High Buildings in Thailand are not in compact...they are scattered..Hope they will promote green city lots of trees and plants...it's so gray in color...not vibrant to see the city that is not green environment..I like more BGC OR MAKATI CITY OF PHILIPPINES very green environment despite of the buildings. But love Bangkok very modern and massive transportation❤️🇹🇭 Once you visit Philippines, your subscribers will be doubled or tripled!

With the rising water levels of the Chao Pyraya river and the fact that Bangkok and in this case Thonburi are slowly sinking why on Gods earth would you live in a building that is going to have serious structual issues in the future?

Yes, you can ask permnission to change the layout of the unit. As long as you leave the structure walls in peace.

Wouldn't the second condo be called a 'loft'? a duplex is two separate living units adjoining.
