    Both FL and the MPC are dope. Millions of records were made with lesser equipment in the past. Its all about talent and work.

    I love the way MP C enhances the sounds , I had sound packs that I thought were low quality but on the mpc they slap !!!

    I never used Fl Studio but I have noticed that users tranfer pretty quick to the MPC work flow.

    Once you start using them together is crazy! I couldn’t fully go to mpc cause I feel like it make the 808s sound funny but I gotta dive more into it

    banging out some drums on 16 pads or a sample on 16 levels , at its core is so Hiphop. you may have more limitations but you wont have regrets!!

    Thanks for this vid. As someone who was looking into purchasing their first mpc product, I too had the choice of buying the mpc key 37 but actually chose to have the Mpc one plus and mini key plus separate bc I just always wanted the classic look of the mpc and also the mpc key 37 looks a little bulky and would rather have the mini plus for when I just want to work with fl studio.

    I think you’ll start to want to use the MPC as your main “brain” once you start getting into the nitty gritty. There’s a real cool workflow to be had with the MPC vst and FL + Edison. You could probably get a setup similar to Elektron Overbridge

      I agree, once you get the hang of it, it's lit🔥 & yeah I forgot to mention you can use it with FL. But you'll need an iLok

      How do I install into fl studio it keeps giving me “MPC already running “ even when I close out the MPC DAW

  • @MattmanAZ09
    @MattmanAZ09 Před 3 měsíci +1

    I’ve had an Fl studio license since 2000 at version 2.7!
    And in 2001 I bought a used mpc 2000 for $750. Adjusted for inflation that’s around $1,300 in today’s dollars!
    So $700 for a mpc one brand new is a steal.

    I like the way it works. I've been unable to work my MPC Renaissance, once it powered up the main screen workspace doesn't appear. I prefer standalone moving forward. Akai dropped the ball, it should be standalone with an option to connect to desktop or laptop 💻.

    15:30 The bass does go lower, if the octave buttons don't work, use the bank buttons. I believe bank A is the lowest octave , and bank H is the highest. It will take some time learning the MPC platform. Example, you can play your bass in the octive your in, then go to piano roll, select all the notes, then move them 12 notes at a time to lower or raise the octave. this is a good way to listen if your in key with your samples or other melodies to.

    PRO TIP lol for using the MPC......... NO QUANTIZE
    If you can't catch a good timing with it completely off.
    Set the quantize strength to 64 Triplet
    Dope video though
