I don't see the GUI for my external plugins when I load them up. For some reason I only get a generic box for the parameter stuff. Is there a setting I need to change?
That's strange. There shouldn't be any extra settings. If you double click on the name of the plugin once it's loaded it should pop up.
Wait, I thought Native Instruments stopped using or selling the MASCHINE DAW? I have the DAW already but...

When I go on my MK3 and plug my guitar in mic input how do hear my guitar is there somewhere in menu or settings to switch it on ?
Yes, you will want to check your preferences specifically the audio tab to set inputs accordingly. After press the sampling button and choose your input. Last thing, you will want to be sure that the monitor is switched to on so that you can hear it back. You might have to tab over on screen to see it.
