I'm 3 or 4 videos into your channel. Not sure how you ended up on my feed; it's probably the algorithm but odd haven't come across you yet. I'm loving your art vibe, your chattiness, and well, just all the things! I use Blackwing pencils and you can purchase extra erasers. They come in different colors depending on the type of BW pencil you've purchased. You can find the replacement erasers on many stationery shops, like JetPens. TFS! ❤

Listening to you ramble about your stationary & journalling for an hour has been a JOY!! I wanna write all the ways I have decided you are awesome but I think that would be super unsettling, so. 🤣😭 Okay, I'm gonna do it anyway. I love an uncut stream of consciousness of absolutely nerdy shit, like I want to tell my partner about the intricacies of each of my pens and each of my storage devices too, for reals it's so fascinating idk!!! I don't because to be frank I get sick of the sound of my own voice, but a cute ass chill queer southern babe is perfect for my ears. I can't do much with a million journalling structure videos (tho, love the info sometimes, but I don't have the patience or concentration to just wAtch a video?) that are at most twenty minutes long - while I'm preplanning literally just one title page for an hour (what was that YT person you said is really good at Just Going For It again??), I need someone w an effortless ramble made of pure chat about journalling with no urgency at all. rewatching this this morning and a few mins in, very Sunday morning vibes, I bursting out laughing at the extremely niche relatable dropping of "Some weird selfie of me crying in the car" 😭😭 babe you're EVERYTHAnnnnG. Pls never stop (okay that's literally totally and always should be up to you, no pressure.. okay pressure, but that chill kind of We Love It not like needy entitled audience but lookin at your comments section we already love yeww. so no pressure.) I hope you know that you are filling an untapped niche right here!! Alright, thanks for coming to my TED talk, and please know I'm just extremely disposed to writing a paragraph about my feelings in the morning (and yet, hate "Morning Page" journalling ugh). Loved the video so much. Pretty much exactly how my experience has been.
Oh, another Tombow adhesive hater (me too). I usually use glue sticks. UHU is the best but I like scotch. And for those that worry about wrinkling with glue sticks, the wrinkles even out after awhile but most of the wrinkle is dependent on your journaling location.
As for organizing pieces I use a desk organizer but I’m not sure if it works the best. By bun has a good video of ephemera bits.

Hey!! You definitely definitely need the Kuretake Glue pens! They have a bullet tip, a bigger chisel tip or a rollerball that will dot the glue if you press the tip in and I straight up leave the tombow adhesive runner shoved in my extras/misc crap box. It’s also way easier to fit in a pencil bag because it’s pen shaped. And I totally get what you mean about the uneven surface. I feel like if I’m not at a table I’m using like half of the adhesive.

Blackwing pencils are one of my fave pencils
They are luxury!! It’s amazing how long they keep their point. I feel like I never have to sharpen them
Re, Blackwing eraser: I think it’s more decorative than anything and you’re supposed to use a separate eraser?? Idk. I’ve seen lots of hot takes on CZcams about it. Some people freak tf out if, like, someone else use the eraser on their pencil. (Maybe Jet Pens has a video on it???)

I’m still trying to get my supplies organized too, but what I’m thinking is that I’ll use an almost accordion style file organizer from Daiso for my sticker sheets and scrap paper and ephemera, because those come with dividers already and I can arrange them by whatever makes sense to me. and for the Fudenosuke pen, the “suke” part would be pronounced almost like the word “skate” if it dropped the “te”. Like… “fu-deh-no-skeh” but with shorter vowel sounds. I hope that makes a bit of sense 😅

that pronunciation of Fudenosuke is SO WRONG. in Japanese, the u sound is silent/dropped when it comes after an s. so it should be more like Fu-de-no-ske, where every syllable is short and pure vowel (the e sound is not an a, for example).
