Well it's that time of year again, the balance of getting out there when the Bluebells are in bloom, even in these cold conditions, they make a bit of an appearance. Plenty to be had from this location on this Perfect Morning
So what's the backstory behind this video?
Well, I’m a Landscape photographer, based in the UK, searching for interesting locations, mainly around the UK, but also travelling further afield. I endeavour to make all of my videos as interesting as possible, with editing skills I've picked up over the years, also with adding music to match the mood of the locations and images. Using a basic set up, consisting of my DJI Osmo Action, my Mavic Pro Drone (although not all the time) and either my trusty Nikon D850 or my Nikon D7200 cameras, for the images.
I always show my images, no matter how unhappy I am with them, I think you as the viewer deserve to see the good along with the bad, after all, if it’s on the video, you've already seen behind the scenes.
So sit back, grab a coffee or a tea, relax and enjoy my slightly unprofessional, sometimes comical, but always crammed with passion video.

Like the way you go about photography, very inspiring. Beautiful pictures too. Love to watch your videos.
I am a d850 owner living in the Netherlands enjoying and exploring photography.
Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much Han, really appreciated. Glad to hear you're enjoying getting out and about. All the Best.
The sound and video were fine, not to worry, and it looked to be a delightful walk in the park. Sparse bluebells? Yeah, I guess, but fine images, non the less. You can't always get what you want, to borrow from the Stones. I really liked the dandelion shots.
Thank you so much Bill, yeah I was a little shocked on how well the sound came out. Thanks again and all the best.
Another interesting video Ben, with a great set of photographs. I particularly like the black and white ones it certainly looks an interesting area to photograph. It is definitely all about being adaptable when nature and technology is concerned👍
Thank you so much Neil, really appreciated. Yeah I need to add the B&W for a little more interest. The cottage just wouldn't work in colour, but B&W adds that something. Thanks again mate and all the best.
You are very Ben 👍
WOW, just beautiful landscape. And Ben your photos are amazing…
I miss the water as does my wife, but it’s pretty scarce here in the New Mexico desert. We’re already in the low to mid 80’s with 7% humidity. High 20’s to low 30’s for the rest of the world…
My high school algebra teacher warned us that we’d have to learn all of the conversion formulas as the US would be converting to the metric system soon. Oh, that was fifty years ago, guess that means it’s not happening anytime soon 😁
Thank you so much Hugh. Gosh, such a contract to what we are experiencing over here. Haha, yeah I doubt that is going to change. Thanks again Hugh and all the best.
Fantastic shots and incredible conditions 👍👍👍
Thanks Will, appreciated 👍
Hi Ben,
I just came across your channel and really enjoyed this video. I like your photography and appreciate that you include all the images you take even if you aren't happy with them. Having said that your images are beautifully captured. Even if the location didn't deliver the compositions as you had hoped, you still made lovely images.
I'm a landscape enthusiast from Australia shooting D810 so I appreciate seeing your work with the D850. I have subscribed and look forward to watching more of your content.
Thank you so much Peter, that’s really appreciated. Ah the mighty D810, I damaged mine and that’s the only reason I upgraded. The D850 is an amazing camera, but you won’t notice much of a difference if I’m truly honest. Thanks for the sub, just on my way to the airport, heading to Venice, and Slovenia, which should be good. All the best mate. 👍
Lovely intro - You are really upping the level of Your productions! 🙂
Thank you so much. Sorry I didn’t notice this comment until now. But again thank you so much, it’s really appreciated that you’ve noticed 👍
Hi Ben that's another area that I have visited many times over the years as I only live about 30 mins away. It was funny watching you walk along the avenue of tree's and you saying there wasn't really an image and I was thinking......yes there is, there's a sunburst/sunstar (f16 😊) then seconds later you show us that exact image 😂. I've just returned from a trip to Dorset and visited the best Bluebell wood ever. There were Beech Tree's with fresh vibrant green leaves and I even had a little bit of mist. If you ever get the chance to go down there this time of year I highly recommend it. I don't know of any decent Bluebell displays in the NW, certainly none near me. You still managed to get some great images
Thank you so much Paul, as always really appreciated. I do love Dorset, its been a long time since I've been and certainly well before my Photography eye, it's one place I would really love to get back to. Thanks again mate and all the best.
fantastic video again mate, really enjoyable!
Thank you so much Adam, really appreciated
Another great video Ben! Catching up with you after sometime. The video and sound quality was great, so don’t fret. Was wondering if you could do a video and take some images of Daffodils. They are my favorite springtime flowers. Love the scenery and countryside, so beautiful!
