Macro holidays are needed for us to stop, relax and enjoy.
So what's the backstory behind this video?
Well, I’m a Landscape photographer, based in the UK, searching for interesting locations, mainly around the UK, but also travelling further afield. I endeavour to make all of my videos as interesting as possible, with editing skills I've picked up over the years, also with adding music to match the mood of the locations and images. Using a basic set up, consisting of my DJI Osmo Action, my Mavic Pro Drone (although not all the time) and either my trusty Nikon D850 or my Nikon D7200 cameras, for the images.
I always show my images, no matter how unhappy I am with them, I think you as the viewer deserve to see the good along with the bad, after all, if it’s on the video, you've already seen behind the scenes.
So sit back, grab a coffee or a tea, relax and enjoy my slightly unprofessional, sometimes comical, but always crammed with passion video.

Nice get-away, Ben, thanks for taking us along. I think the b-roll at the end was fine and it, combined with your choice of music, reminded me of Lord of the Rings. The shots along the wall leading to the mountain were my favorites.

Great video Ben it brought back a lot of memories of when I was younger and fitter. It’s so important to get out and “shower your head “ as I call it. A great set of photographs too.

Hi Ben I love that location and after watching your video definitely need to return this year. Photography for me is my escape from the stresses of the office and it is like a reset for the body. That location along with Llyn Idwal further down the road are probably my favourite locations in Snowdonia

I've seen a lot of images from the location you were in Ben but these were up there with the best of them particularly the one at around 10:50. Superb vlog in every respect 📷👏👏

Great video! I enjoyed the image right next to the stone wall looking down towards Llyn Ogden 10.50 time…. A slight composition change on the classic shot from there…..I’m going to have to get up there again now!

Some fantastic images Ben loved the one at 6:42 the rocks in the water looked fantastic. I've been to that location a few times and it great up there really does de stress you after a busy week working, its one of the reasons I took up landscape photography. Enjoyed the video 👍

Superb video. Couldn't agree more about photography being the perfect system reset. As a fellow shift worker, I'm grateful that I can get out during the week when places are relatively quite or sometimes even deserted 👍

Went here last year but the weather was horrendous so only managed a couple of images but these Ben are definitely, something else. “ Simply Stunning”.
I need to have a day out here, preferably without my wife as being a non photographer that sometimes takes shots on her phone, believes a photo takes a minute to take. I need to find some slightly elevated positions that aren’t too difficult to get too.
