Heated gear is a game changer.
We've been using Venture Heat jackets, pants, gloves and even socks for years now. It allows you to ride anytime of the year, in almost any conditions. You know there's a difference when you don't see another bike for days, but you're getting around toasty-warm!
@@whiteskyflyer Plug into the bike for pretty much endless power.
The winter before last I purchased a cheap heated vest of eBay. It cost something like $30-$40 and is as thick as a jacket liner. I had to get my own power bank for it but it has lasted two years so far and gets me to work nice and toasty at 6am.
The heated vest is a game changer.
love the sound of whiskey Mark , great review , nice to see how good the heated gear is in a real situation not in a catalogue. cheers.
Heated gear is definitely the go but I think that jacket is a little bit big and bulky for motorcycle use, a smaller vest type would be a lot better to wear under a jacket and will pack up better when not in use.
The gloves look the business apart from the charging issue, sad thing is when you go camping you have to try to charge the batteries somehow, a USB type charge cable would be a big benefit.
I personally don’t like bulky gloves so will just stick to heated grips.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
There is 12 volt heated gear direct connect to bike
Hi Mark, I don't know if you know yet Maico have built a 700 cc two stroke road registered bike. There is a guy on CZcams by the name of Kaplan America, this guy made his money on computers but ,he also raced bikes on dirt ,so he has built himself what he calls it his compound it's his house and workshop on the same property. This guy buys any type of bike and completely restores them he has a mechanic mate of his who he call the wizard and do they bring these bikes back from the dead ,it is great content get on and have a look and see what he does.He bought one of these maicos and done a review on it ,it is a weapon it's the biggest two stroke ever built regards Tony
Geez whisky sounds good..
Christ tonight its like watching qvc. 😩😩🤣🤣
Have a look at the charger small fine print, you will see the output volt/amps for the gloves
Just heading in to the colder weather here soon. Never tried heated gloves. These seem interesting.
It's getting warm now in Australia mate
But as you know. 40'c daytime and 15'c at night is 25 drop... fn cold.
The flashing means preheating.
Nice one Mark...
hows it holding up after a year?
Solid review 👍 Cheers

At the moment Texas is too hot, but we're coming into the cold season. I'm going to have to get me a set of those. Is it safe to assume that they also have the pants? Thanks for the test Mark. It looks like this is another purchase I'm going to have to make. This Texas boy gets cold in the winter time. "Texas" on the Prairie
No I don't think I saw pants on the website!
Link sent 12 volt gear the only way to roll no battery charging needed
They will have heated pants soon.
#Bikerbits I just bought a fleece ... jacket and the gloves and wow im blown away at the American quality. LOve black friday but i thinks i spent to much this year lol... F it lol
Good Onya mate and yeah sometimes you just have to say F*#k It! 👍
Make blue your colour. It looks cool.
I should have added, “On you”!
Oooh I want, I need!!!
Warm n Safe have a better set up. Jacket, pants and glove liners. Plugs into bike and pack down small.
they are NOT motorcycle gloves no protection in case of an accident, Venture heated gear (Zarkie) in melbourne have a great range of motorcycle heated gear......
I wish they could make AC'ed stuff for riding 😆 🤣. I can handle the cold well. The heat not so much. I really dislike summers.
I usually ride with an Ice plate, when I head out to Utah. Take it out of the freezer in the morning and into the cold liner I keep in the saddle bags, then I pull it out and wear it mid day when it’s hot, as it thaws it makes cold drinking water, sits flush on the body and keeps my core temp down. Used to use them in the Army, now as a civy I love having it for riding.
