1:23 Micah with the Gerrard impression.
The door creaked for too short though
Yeah, of course...
@@leafsinseven hahaha
Hahahahahahahaha
Excellent
Great potential never fulfilled. He was a real beast at 18 honestly.
Once the guaranteed millions come in the motivation goes away.
Aint that the truth. How he only ended up with 8 caps is crazy as he did as he said burst onto the scene 😂 funny guy though
Injuries man
he's a beast of a pundit tho
By his own admission. Money.
Micah "burst on to the scene" Richards
😂😂😂
Youngest England defender of all time
Youngest player ever from this universe
Youngest ever player from this galaxy
Youngest ever player from this solar system
Dished out the heaviest EVER defeat at old trafford and Barclays MOTM , got to feel good . what a beast Micah was. This was the game a shift in power started too unfold
A shift in cheating FFP started to unfold
Not the heaviest defeat any more 😂
@@manningismystepdad4997 at old trafford stil it is :D
@@szkokee well yes but not outright, since Tottenham also beat them 6-1 a couple seasons ago
Micah Richards single-handedly turned manchester united blue for the rest of history with that man of the match performance
This lad deserved a longer career.. he didnt give the best passes but he was powerful im sure if he played under pep he couldve done wonders
Passes weren't good enough for Pep
you never watched football huh? completely different style then pep mate
Pep only buys the finished pruduct
Yeah, Foden was the finished product
Kdb was the finished product
Gundogan was the finished product
Rodri was the finished product
@@Rap_Hael other than Foden youre right
Micah's laughter was in infancy then
Same today
I think if this game ended 3-1 to City it would have been a complete tie at the top of the league at the end and then a playoff would have taken place to determine the champions. It it was only 2-1 to city, united would have been champions. The importance of this game cannot be understated to the triumph of City that year.
City won with a goal difference of +8 (a GD of 64 to United's 56). If this game had been 2-1 City's GD would've been 60 and United's 60.
@Xeder The PL doesn’t do H2H. That’s a La Liga thing.
Head to head is stupid anyway.
@@Ese96Agoaye if goal difference is the same then it goes to head to head
@@mozzimozzi10 it didn’t in 89 Liverpool vs Arsenal
This match cost United the league. I’m pretty sure United ended up losing this league on goal difference. A 6-1 trashing to your rival obviously isn’t going to help.
@Its Timo Time at home as well. Crazy result, especially considering United won the league before and after this season.
If City had won only 2-1 instead of 6 , then they’ve would have both finished level on everything W,D,L,GF, GA, GD and under Premier League law at the time, the league would have to be decided by a play-off at a neutral venue.
@John Frankenheimer that would’ve been crazy. like a Premier league final.
@@Jack_The_Ladd prolly wouldn't have happened even w that result because then United would have prolly played for more than just a win in the final game/ city would have played their remaining games differently
I dont think so, united leads 8 points in the end of season but made a mistake then cost city the league, after trashed 1-6 they not go down, united still chasing city in the league
he didn’t stop running all game what an amazing and important performance from micah this game
He has a great bubbly personality, very articulate and smart with words, he should be great on TV as pundit/personality after his playing days.
😂😂
He's now
@@benjamindadzie9657 that’s the joke bud
I hear them hollering and howling in tv with Henry and Carragger
😭
he sounded more confident talking back then than he does now doing punditry haha
He’s a class pundit though? He’s a breathe of fresh air right now
I can see Richards having a bright future. I believe he could captain both club and country in a few years time.
I thought that in 2007
Yh, I really like the way he, how do you say, burst on to the scene 😏
Like England would ever have a black captain , hahahahaha dream on.

Well he did burst out on to the scene didn’t he?
Third time asking for Jeff Stelling and crew's reaction to De Bruyne signing for City.
Why don’t you just search for it its on youtube?
Lol that's not the point of this
I’m a United fan but that was a great season. Still can’t believe the manner in which we lost the league that year. Still painful.
1:15 he was gonna say something else about mario but choose to be professional instead
It's the honesty to acknowledge that United were a man down and the way he respects the club
1:22 Micah’s impression of stevie g
He's always loved to laugh. 😂😂😂😂😂 no wonder he laughs a lot!
Ngl a really mature interview for him at this age given all the hype he had around him at the time
He was 23 at the time. Not exactly a kid.
David silva was incredible this game

He burst into the scene in this game
In a team that had Yaya, Silva, Aguero, and Kompany, Micah was the man of the match. He ran that day tbh.
Big mix has always been a fun guy
This match genuinely won City the league
One of the FPL greats.
great job bursting onto the scene
Micah was always good on the mic
I can see him becoming a great football pundit
legend had it the blade of grass on his forhead is still there to this day! TO THIS DAY!
Micah 😂😂😂 what haircut is that?

Micah was awesome that day
Bursts onto the scene
This guy is going to explode unto the scene!

The match which signalled the changing of the guard in Manchester ten years ago. Since this scoreline, United have never recovered properly since.
Apart from when they won the league the following season lol
And even the 2011/12 season ManUtd did recover quickly from this defeat, this loss put City 5 pts ahead but ManUtd still went 8 clear of City afterwards.
If Chelsea didn't rob Wigan in April 2012 ManUtd would've won the title that season. A typical Chelsea win at Stamford bridge where the opposition score a legitimate goal to Chelsea's 2 controversial ones which were allowed to stand then everyone felt sorry for Wigan because they played well and were already in a relegation battle didn't deserve a loss and there was all this talk about the smaller teams never get decisions vs the big teams and then Wigan's next game was vs ManUtd who had won 13 out of 13 PL games vs Wigan before that night and in total won 15 out of 16 PL meetings vs Wigan in the 8 seasons Wigan were in the PL from 2005/06 to 2012/13 (scoring 50 goals to Wigan's 4....and that doesn't include ManUtd also beating them 4-0 in a LeagueCup final during that time frame) but Wigan's 1 win was a bad blow to ManUtd in April 2012 Wigan won 1-0 controversially scoring a goal from a wrongly awarded corner and ManUtd were denied a stonewall penalty near the end meaning City gained 3 out of the 5 pts they needed to gain on ManUtd before playing ManUtd at the Eitihad.
Here we are, indeed.

Mad how Micah’s head has shrunk over the years 🤣
I can see him becoming a great pundit after deciding to retire early.. heard it here first 😂
That balotelli hair cut tho
No one at Man City would give this much respect to united now…

Micah "Burst into the scene" Richards.
I remember having that haircut 🤣😎
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this happened right after United beat Arsenal 8-2 right?
yes
Who is Carra to diss Micah on air? Man has a LEAGUE TITLE. Only league title Carra got is if he visits Liverpool's training grdoun and asks Klopp to hold it.
Micah didn't even have UCL silver medal 🙈 actually none of Oil Citeh FC Player had ever touch UCL silver medal, let alone gold medal. Hamann, Milner, and Sturridge won UCL as Liverpool players. Lampard won it as Chelsea player. Andy Cole won it as United player 🙈
This must be when he had just burst into the scene
