I remember watching this match in a pub in Sydney. There were some United fans taking up the space directly in front of the big screen, behaving as if winning was their right...they left early.
I remember wathcing this in Star City in a city shirt amount all the united supporters. They were not impressed 😂
That's weird, here in Manchester they usually just turn up with their colours on then proceed stand at the bar talking or playing the fruit machines and only get animated when they hear something is happening from those who bother to watch.

This game 3 goals (which is a 6-goal swing for the overall GD which proved cruicial alone because it meant that the GD of +8 in favour of City was too much to be overtaken with a game or 2 remaining so they knew it was an extra point so they only needed to equal the type of result ManUtd got).
The Sunderland game where they're 1-3 down with 5mins of normal time to go and it finishes 3-3 and of course the 2 in stoppage-time last game vs QPR to win 3-2 from 1-2 down.
Of course there was also the late pen winner vs Spurs etc...

I was at Uni at the other side of the country when this was on. Only 2 city fans including myself in the pub. Loads of rags, including the friend I went there with and shared friendly banter with.
I held back with my friend bless him he was in a state of shock. He was one of the few United fans in my youth that did not taunt or tease me growing up And he appreciated my restraint
I still struggle with this at times.. sometimes i find myself being the only fan for City during our matches..but we go on regardless

I'm grateful for having lived the rise of Manchester City and fall of Manchester United. I started watching football back in 2004 and later I fell in love with that beautiful United with Ronadl, Tevez, and Rooney. However, as more argentinians and south Americans began joining City, I began rooting for the weaker team.
