  • If you have no voicemails on your iPhone Phone App but it shows a red dot notification about an unread voicemail, then this video will help you to remove that annoying voicemail notification with no voicemail inside phone App.
    It is due to the glitch and bugs on iPhone iOS 17 and later versions. If you keep getting the voicemail notification without any messages, your carrier may be the culprit. Voicemail is a carrier feature and your carrier is responsible for setting it up for you.
    If you are checking your voicemail again and again because of the false notifications, first contact your carrier.
    You can also try switching your SIM to one from another carrier and see if that solves the problem.
    In this situation, the notification doesn't go away even if you have no voicemails or any call history.
    On your iPhone phone app, this problem could be:
    1-voicemail notification with no voicemail
    2- How do I fix my iPhone when it says no voicemail?

    This is a horrible solution as you will no longer see missed call badges. Apple is FORCING you to set up and use voicemail in order to get rid of the badge that appears there from the update.

      @ProAttique  Před 9 měsíci +5

      Yes, some solutions are horrible but what to do if we don’t have an alternative? If we just want to get rid of this red dot notification, then every day we can come back to Phone app to check if we had some missed calls or not. Anyway, missed calls will also be in the banner notifications

    • @loughrey101

      It's still a bug as thr notification should go away once you listen to the voice message as the whole point of a notification is to let you know there's a message, but if you open the message it should go away as you no longer need to be notified that it's there. You shouldn't have to delete the voice message just to remove the notification. It's definitely a iOS 17 bug. It has happened in the early versions of iOS 16 last year before Apple finally patched it.

      Well, I don’t know where you live but currently I’m here in China. I have never been using voicemails throughout my smartphones journey. I created this video after facing that voicemail issue on my phone as well. I never set up any voicemail options on my phone but one day there was a notification and I tried to remove that notification from my phone app. I couldn’t remove, but just turn off the badge. Later, I got some other fixes that can be seen in my new video presented in the end screen and Pin comment of this video. I’ve been reading so many articles about it but couldn’t smell much about the political things. In my opinion, it is the compatibility issue between an iPhone and the voicemail service providers. If you make a call to your service providers, then of course they will fix it.

    • @Than3Dane
      @Than3Dane Před 6 měsíci

      Yeah, I appreciate the video @ProAttique cause it really does highlight a problem, I went on and found that link I tried to share above, found a bunch of Deaf people in the same situation & they are left to deal with so much nonsense to actively disable it. Now it needs to be disabled on 2-parts, our carrier, and on the iPhone.
      But to stop getting the different voice-video mails etc from apples Voice Mail, customer would have to actively setup & configure this, until then they will remain open to receive & keep getting notifications.
      My rant started simply due to the fact that I now have this VoiceMail icon on my "Phone/call" area & only solution to remove it would be jailbreaking.
      But quickly noticed this was a much bigger issue then that.
      Also, before I got my new model iPhone, I found a way to disable service numbers from spam SMS. Simply calling the message sender would call a weird looking number. Then you hang up, go back, open the called number and block it.
      But somehow that was not okay with apple, so they disabled calls for service numbers, and now you will be endlessly bombardet from all angles without any means to block.
      Sorry about the long read, I just gotta say this, I'm a very proficient tech savy, but even I are having stressful headaches. All the while we see governments worldwide forcing their people to fully adapt to these menace technologies.
      Replacing stairways with unreliable elevators!
