- In this video I compare and contrast the Tethrd Skeletors which are a budget climbing stick with the Tethrd One Sticks which are a premium climbing stick. Which are better? Do you want the lightest climbing stick on the planet? Or would you prefer more foot room? Skeletors v. One Sticks

I've really enjoyed my skeletors. I got them for this upcoming season. They are seriously mint! The weight doesn't bother me compared to the ones. Great review.
I honestly think you're going to enjoy the SS sticks. They look really good.
Nice review! I just bought the latitude carbons. Excited to get them!
Really would recommend the G3D "stick stack stow." Very smooth, solid & quick, especially in the dark. Have them on my ONE sticks and will never look back!! Thanks a ton for your in depth video's!!
Well made video. Good info.
Good job
I used the Skeletors this past season and they are a great stick. They bite hard into the tree. Half the time after taking the rope off they are still stuck to the tree. The design is great and you get a solid footing on them. The DynaLite rope attachment is simply awesome. I’ll never use a buckle strap again. With 4 of them and using a short aider on just the first step, 18-19’ at the platform is easily achieved (I’m 5’ 10”). But man, cutting back on half the weight is making me look at the One Stick’s.
Great breakdown video! I got both sets.. I personally don't think they get much better than the one sticks. Ive tried several different sticks over the years. I use the skeletors when it gets cold and i need more foot room, i also feel for me the weight penalty just isn't there anymore with the one sticks. I quit using my gcone aider and just carry an extra one stick. Either way, ya can't go wrong. Just my opinion.
I have the skeletors and there awesome
Could you use two of those aiders to get a naider swaider result?
Hi. Have you looked at the Sladder (Grayskwerel)? I would be interested to see some honest opinions on that climbing method.
Great oversight Instead of stealth strips I used raptor bedliner on mine the platform and my beast stand it adds nice rubber texture and never have to change it my 3 pk gained 2 Oz with it but I run backwoods 3 step aiders and 2 sticks gets me plenty height for my area also genesis stacking clips on the one stick is mint way better than factory plugs just so u no
What’s your go to saddle? Transformer? ESS?
What are your thoughts on either of these for one-sticking? I really like the idea of a super light stick, but I am not sure about that cleat for 1 sticking. Normally I use a cam cleat with a rope mod, but I am really trying to cut down on weight. I suppose I could mode them.
I’d use the one stick. You could use it as is because the attachment method is so quick and easy. But Matt from OOAL will make a bracket for the one stick that allows you to attach a cam cleat.
@@SaddleHunterPerfect, thanks for the content and good luck this year!
Always great content. With your previous videos I bought cruzr saddle. I got myself Beast sticks. Check ‘em out.
I love my skeletors. Buddy has the one sticks and I just can't use them comfortably. Bigger feet and have back injuries making me more unstable. So I NEED stability and space. I barely notice the weight.
What’s the best mobile Hunting saddle pack that you found for sticks and saddles? I really like insights saddle stalker! But there’s no place to put anything else it’s the most uniform packet in unit I’ve seen they just add some pockets on the outside that would be fantastic. What do you think? Any other packs out there? I carry the x2
I enjoy the Kuiu Venture 2300
@@SaddleHunter thanks I’ll check it out
@@SaddleHunter can u make a video on how u pack it up woth ur saddle and sticks?
I'd rather have the Hawk Mini 4pc for $100 off Amazon than either of those
Are you going to get do a video on the latitude Carbon sticks?
I tried them and wanted to love them BUT they just didn't have enough stand off for me. If they made them a few ounces heavier and made them inch more stand-off they would be PERFECT. I was on my tip toes .
I have never used these lightweight sticks. The type I have used in the past stacked from the ground up. These little skinny ropes scare me a bit. They are so small.
I thought they sold tethrd ones in 1,3, and 4 packs?
Please fix your audio, I generally enjoy your videos but the audio is terrible.
