US blocked Russia to give cryoengine tech to ISRO in 1990s and now ISRO moon mission using indigenous cryoengine, will give data of moon south pole to NASA for Artemis 2024 human landing there. India's ISRO is working for the humanity, no hard feelings on anyone. In fact, necessity is the mother of invention and India developed ISRO space missions, maybe late than west but are catching up leaving no stone unturned. With limited resources but unlimited brains anything can be achieved 🙂. Next ISRO Mars Mission 2024.

This lady and few others could have easily immigrated to the USA where NASA is ready to take them and pay them 10times more than what they are earning here in India. However, these patriots are ready to sacrifice the monetary benefits and working for a proud nation. Jai Hind. Vande Mataram.

*Dedicated to the guys who think people are dying of hunger and govt. is spending money on the mars mission:-*
ISRO stands for Indian Space Research Organisation. The main purpose of the organisation is to research the vast region beyond earth. That's what they are doing and if you're objecting about their plans then that means you're objecting the entire reason for their existence.
What should an aerospace engineer do then? Should they change their occupation and do something that help feed the poor.
Being an aerospace engineer means strive to learn new methods to be able to produce cost efficient aircrafts and spacecrafts. Now in case of ISRO they produce spacecrafts. Cost efficient is directly related to fuel efficiency and better performance. The space as it is totally mystery, is a holy grail for space enthusiasts. Don't you want to know what lies ahead. Is there life sustainable on Mars or not? Is there anything out there that can help ease our life like any mineral? It's a human nature to be curious. Curiosity is the sole reason we came a long way from the discovery of wheel to now. If you want to refuse these things then you should know that you've already stopped being human.
*Dying of poverty......don't make me laugh. If you can just think about filling your belly then don't even feel superior to those animals that you keep as a pet.*
*Do you see any animal those are not pet, dying from hunger? As for those are pet, they are no longer the proud animal once they were but just like a petty human who dies of hunger.*

Daniel, you clearly don't understand that paper. Just read the introduction and it explains what they mean by "linear aircraft model for a rigid aircraft o fconstant mass flying over a flat, nonrotating Earth."
The key point here is "model". They go on to say, "These models are widely used, not only for computer applications but also for quick approximations and desk calculations." Essentially they mean that for rough calculations you don't need to take the Earth's curavature and rotation into account. Also, when modeling an aircraft's attitude, thrust direction and so on, the curvature and rotation of the Earth also don't really matter. Then the paper goes onto describe the derivation of these modeling techniques.
But you read "flat, nonrotating Earth" and thought, "AH HA! Got you NASA!"

Dear Sonu Kumar- Well in that case I wish you would have born as a member of such a family who after seventy years of political indpendence, are still searching for social economical & educational equality of opportunity (in real sense).. As a doctorate in Physics I must admit Space Science, explorations scientific testings technology development all are meant for the whole mankind and development of mankind.. But at the same time I am not among those fools or cowards who EITHER talk against space physics citing hunger and poverty OR talk in favor of space science deminishing or declining the reality of social economical educational imbalance present in our society.. Only exploration in Space science is not going to be helpful AT ALL for the deprived sections, unless all are equally treated in a democratic way... Have courage to accept the fact and act in rational way..

Thank you for your comments. The TDLAS technology based lasers are a very unique products and we supplied to various R&D Centres in India including space applications. Unfortunately nobody manufacturing these type of semiconductor laser diodes in India. Indian customers are outsourcing these products from Europe or USA. Thanks for your reply. We made a comment regarding the TDLAS based aerospace technology in the "TEDx Talks channel" and not spamming anyone's private channel. If there is an issue they will take care of this subject further. We don't need a cheap advertising whereas we just add the technological advantages of our products only in the comments box which is provided for general public by CZcams and the uploader of this video TEDx Talk Channel. We are paying for search engine advertising worldwide as well. Hope that you understand the situation. Do you think that a small comments spark as a worldwide advertisement?

Gov. should pay them better than burocrats than any body else. Their achievements is sky high, impact on the mass immeasurable. In my 80 years this is unspeakable achievement. All are indigenous including boys and girls. If you do not pay them well clever will rather become IAS, IPS . Another thing is do not put any politician ,any IAS officer or any beurucrat anywhere near to them. I wish PM will nurture them directly as he is doing now.
