  • GAZELLE IN TWO STEPS - Secrets of Wizard SkatingShop Task ♡ goo.gl/Wpqnbs ♡
How to gazelle by combining a back entry powerslide and a t-push.
Welcome to the Shop Task CZcams channel. Shop Task is your neighbourhood inline skating shop. We have locations in Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle and Toronto. Our goal is to make inline skating more popular.
My name is Shaun Unwin. I am the curator of the Shop Task CZcams channel and manager of Shop Task YYC, the inline skate shop in Calgary. I am a lifelong skater with multiple certifications as a skate instructor through SkateIA. Please contact me with any questions by email shaun@shop-task.com or come see me at the shop goo.gl/h3pH8W
In this video I show you how to combine to intermediate skills into a very difficult back open gazelle. I use this technique in order to do the back open gazelle in my unnatural direction.
Step one: Enter the gazelle as if you are doing a back entry powerslide.
Step two: Exit the gazelle with a t-push. Make sure you are pushing hard through the heel of your foot.
    Thanks for watching.

I'm going to sound like such a nerd, but the architecture in most of your videos is really big and beautiful. same in bill stoppard videos, Canada seems a nice place

I'll join the nerd club 🤓 I clicked the vid trying to understand the Gazelle, repeated it three more times trying to understand the architecture. Is this a dead end, a stair leading to a sharp dead end?! 🧐

You know, this is surprisingly simple. Personally, I thought a gazelle would require far more. Thanks as always Shaun, as much as this particular technique isn’t high on my list, a new tutorial from my fav place for blades and all that related is always welcome. Thanks Shop Task for gearing me up with my new boots too,mi can’t wait to break them in.

I can skate backwards good but every time I look right around like you my balance is not as good as it is when I just turn my head. would you have any tips PLEASE.

Here you make no scissoring with the legs, only parallel. However, am I right that normally this Gazelle would be an OUTSIDE TO INSIDE Gazelle move? (because the leading leg changes after the turn)

Thank you Shaun, you're amazing and your explanation cannot be more clear and effective. All your lessons are very useful and I improve quickly thanks to you. Is great when you do an analysis about another skater or technique, as Bill Stoppard, an others.... I would like to suggest to you make a tutorial about spin and rotate, statically and dynamically, as exemple you got czcams.com/video/iBNu4agi9qA/video.html, Joey McGarry spin technique is impresive, he uses this technique all the time and he applies it on any surface. It could be nice if you can detail the required movements and how to perform it, at least, try it. thks in advanced. Your flow ride rocks!
