I have seen your comments/requests noting that there are some moments missing, and y'all are totally right. I also have some of those. As nettles dont effect me nor do I get cold but my resting body temperature is about 40degreee so I'm always dying of heat stroke

My favorite part about the first clip was that Mythical Chef Josh ate a bite of every single round easily but had to spit out the Sour Burger. It made Shayne look extra crazy for being able to eat half of the burger

Wasn’t there also a Smosh episode where everyone had a glass of lemonade, but only one was messed with? And everyone thought they had the normal one, but Shayne’s was literal concentrated lemon juice. I can’t find the clip so I’m starting to feel like I just dreamt it and it’s not real.
Edit: as I typed this comment I remember it was lemonade, so I searched for Smosh lemonade and found it.
I think that was one of the "Who is the imposter" episodes where they all had identical water bottles and the person that had the bad drink had to try to fool the others.

That's not quite how tastebuds work, they frequently die and are replaced. They can permanently die but that's more damaging the area, which is pretty difficult for normal people. It's more likely that Shayne either built up an incredibly high tolerance to sour flavors OR when he was younger something caused him to lose the ability to taste sour, this is known as Hypogeusia. This can come from exposure to chemicals, head injuries, surgeries, ear, nose, and respiratory infections, and even poor dental hygiene.

I've never met someone who reacts the same way I do to sour flavors! My party trick is to take a big bite out of a lemon, rind and all, and eat it without making a face.
