This was waaay better than having Josh host. It's like watching Shaq dunk on kindergartners.
Now i really need a basketball game where pro athletes go all out on kindergartners
Stupid kindergarteners
Yeah I second this. I think the game is way more interesting with the Smosh cast getting out classed by experts in the Beopardy Topics 😂
@@faheemfarooq9613 there is footage from like camps and charity events, where nba players dunk on elementary/ middle school kids, which is good. Like Iving crossing up James, aged 9, from Philadelphia, type stuff.
I'd pay for that, loved this
As flustered as Josh was, it's legitimately fulfilling seeing someone thriving in their wheelhouse. This made me follow Josh.
for how odd he is and his food combinations he is honestly extremely capable.
He wasn’t joking when he said it’s his career. As much as ppl have fun watching it, most chefs aren’t scrutinized on camera. Lol imagine if a camera was on you at work. I would quit lol 😂
Wheelhouse??? What???
@@catsdgsIt's a US saying meaning "Someone's area of expertise"

Shane: "Did you know that the whole time?"
Josh: "Yes, I did"
* Pushes up glasses *
- cue the food-splaining
We actually watched the same thing?

Technically, Josh got the espresso one right because “pressed out” is the literal definition of express.
I knew that from when my aunt would take her dog to the vet to get its anal gland "expressed"
Yep, that's what I said.
I’m gonna have to say no to this because it is not a common use of the word, it’s more of a secondary vestigial meaning. You shouldn’t be able to get this question right simply on the basis that it sounds similar unless you can state that you mean express in the form of pressing out.
@@WubbyPunch Except it doesn't just "sound similar" and isn't a vestigial meaning, it is the etymological origin of the word, the original definition, and still the second most commonly used today.
@@Zuub470 etymological origin doesn’t matter if it’s because it sounds the same. In no print or vocal medium have I ever heard it used in that context. Also I would argue express as in “in a hurry” is much more the secondary definition than presses out. You simply conflated it being 2.- on some dictionary as that definition being second most common. It’s not. Also if he knew what it takes to know about that word, he would’ve said so. So the validity of that answer solely lies on the person who used it, to state that it means to press out before or after receiving the response that their ill-informed presumption was wrong. Which didn’t happen. So no. It’s incorrect in this context.
It's so funny that Josh started holding back so the others wouldn't feel as bad
Agreed. I wonder how many of those multiple choices he knew because he just completely stopped trying to answer them after the first one
I believe "merciful" is more appropriate here, lol.
@@Avalonsarrt oh ease up Karen
And still absolutely destroyed them
Just like Damien 😅
So we got leeks, sage and olives. I see why they were picked.
Underrated comment
Food for thought
LMAOOOOOOO
Don’t forget Joshes, which are in season right now.
Missed opportunity for *I see why they were pickled*
Saige’s “ah, he said we’re friends” makes me happy every time I watch
this is one of my favourite smosg videos and a frequent i come back too, and part of it is that 🤭 it’s so innocent, happy and positive

not anymore though :-(

@@GhostWriter520 she doesn't work for smosh anymore, and with her current channel (which you can find here), it's as if she never worked at smosh in the past lol
I like how Josh's answer is even longer and more detailed then the answer on the card.
This was an absolute bloodbath.
Josh: The term “bloodbath” was coined in 1867. A compound of blood and bath, the latter used to refer in the metaphorical sense to a deluge of a thing. Also there’s a lot of animosity in the family to this day.
The two sides to this day still aren't talking.

I fully expected Josh to host, but the fact that he destroyed everyone made this episode incredible
I wish he did. Also, I do pay attention to his food stuff on Insta!
Incredibly dogshit yea, he's such an annoying ass geek.
Olivia: “ im so competitive” then “ no thanks I work alone”
Also Olivia:loses horribly until final beopardy
So obnoxious
She also said “it would ruin her brand.” It doesn’t, because her brand is that she permanently has a concussion and she’s stupid af
Now that Anthony is back, I think there should be a special episode of Beopardy where all of the questions are about character/sketches/series that were produced while he was gone.
Excellent idea!
Perhaps make it a 2-part Beapardy? The first being your idea with Anthony as one of the contestants and then the second one focusing old Smosh content/ older Smosh Games content (Game Bang-Smosh and Order) with Chance as a contestant.
@@spectrum4524and Anthony as a host, also I don’t think that Smosh and order would be considered “old Smosh content” since it was made post Anthony Leaving
This reminds me of when they put a real lawyer against Joven in smosh court. This was gold!!
Smosh and Order was so good!
If anyone else has listened to every episode of 'A Hotdog is a Sandwich' we'd probably do pretty well on this show as well. Haha
I have. Never miss an episode. Nor any Mythical Kitchen, naturally. Josh is my spirit animal.
Lol yeah
The fact that if a hotdogs is a sandwich was ever question blows my mind. It's literally meat in bread that you put condiments and toppings on and eat.
@@ProperlyGaming Surely a hot dog is a wad as it only uses 1 piece of bread.
You're assuming I retain any of that information.
"he's reading the card somehow" may not be my absolute favorite line but it might be a close second or third.
"this is my life! THIS IS NOT A JOKE" - As Josh defends with his whole chest literally everything he's worked his ass for
Good Job bud, you made us proud lol
Olivia refusing to split points by saying she’s a “solo person” only for her to stay at 0 points for most of the game is hilarious to me 😂
edit: if you're genuinely mad at Olivia and dislike her, cry about it idk
Then she didn't even bet 1bn per question in the last round. She could have won! Haha
Thats honorable. Meant she wouldve contributed nothing for her team. Instead she chooses to risk herself
She's the worst cast member on Smosh
She's a see you next Tuesday
@@StefanMiller dude if your gonna insult someone you've never met at least have the balls to use the actual insult rather than the term middle age mothers use to hide it from their children.
Josh: "Olivia and I talk about food all the time, and I'm always impressed."
Olivia: "I don't even know who you are."
Olivia continuing to be a chaotic neutral force of Smosh.
Do they actually know each other? LOL
@@aliofneverland1120 Yes they do. That's the thing.
I love the “foodsplaining with Josh” addition. Good job editors 👍🏼
Saige sounded so innocent saying, "Oh he said we're friends." 😭😂😂
Shayne: "it's you three vs him (Josh)"
Olivia: "no, I'm a solo person"
*Got 0 points untill the final Beopardy 😂
Let's be honest relatable
Haha, her in the beginning: I'm really competitive!
Her in the middle: don't know if you noticed, I completely gave up
Olivia actually got 8, coz she guessed Mexico right 😂
They were individual bets and she got 3 of 4 wrong. She had -8-8-8+8 in the end. Which is -16
Josh is hilarious. I fucking love him not just as a chef, but also as a person.
Wowza! Thanks everybody for all the likes!
Agreed! I love him and Nicole’s interactions together on Mythical Kitchen. It’s so much fun to watch!
I love this crossover. Love that Josh was pulling back his energy. I genuinely feel as though if I walked into a room with these 5 I could hang out no problem.
100% agreed Josh is such an awesome dude.
yes agreeeeeed! have him on way more!
honestly he kinda urked me for some reason. I kinda never wanna see him in a vid again lol.
I love how at one point Shayne just looked broken while Josh foodsplained.
“You have written a cookbook and Keith has Mountain Dew for breakfast.” This is going to be fun I can already tell 😂
Revenge episode: Stan vs. the Internet: Food Trivia, and find the most difficult trivia possible to stump Josh.
And actually have Josh host!!!
Nah Josh will be the stan
Perfect
he will still nail it, but I would love to see it lol.
this is quite possibly the best idea ever
everyone absolutely losing their mind while josh just perfectly explains the correct answers is so hilarious
6:24 I love how Olivia is just gaslighting Josh and then Saige is just focusing on the positive
Olivia: "no, I'm a solo person"...yeah it didnt matter anyway.
We had Jackie conquered Nick/Disney Beopardy , Saige conquered Avatar Stan vs. Internet, Shayne conquered Spy Alley & now Josh had entered the list.
Also courtney conquered the first two who meme'd it
Memory's probably bad, but didn't Shayne also win Football Stan vs Internet and the Sushi Party game?
But Jackie didn't realize she was low key a Disney Stan. XD Josh knew he was passionate about food and food history lol. XD
Finally, another one when everyone gets destroyed by a pro, just like jackie
I wonder if this episode would have existed if she didn't make everyone her bitch in that Disney episode lol
I was trying to play that Disney episode Jackie was on and was getting so mad when she hit the button before the question was done like STOP LET ME THINK DAMN
I have a feeling that Josh just starting holding back when they rant about how Josh knows everything. 😂😂😂😂
I like this episode of beopardy. The fact that there's someone professional or someone who studied around the topic makes it interesting when they give more in-depth answers.
Now we need a "Stan vs. Normies" on food with Josh as the host.
Yes!
Omg YES
my thoguth too
Either Josh or Trevor
i just want josh to never be on a smosh vid again lol
This unexpectedly showcased Josh's passion for his industry. Pretty freakin cool.
Unexpectedly?!
"We should have gotten Trevor. Trevor is dumber."
*This message was sponsored by Shayne from iCarly*
And of course Sage gets the one about vampires right...no surprise there
Even then tho that was extremely obvious as an answer
I like the way Josh explains things, he just explains it to give helpful information, not to belittle.
Josh is quickly becoming one of my favorite people at Mythical.
....did you just start watching?
@@logandh2 No, I watch GMM and never really watched the mythical kitchen channel a whole lot but I’m getting more into it.

Mythical Chef Josh is the embodiment of food.
He *IS* the snacc
frrr XO
My like made it “666” 🤐
Olivia went from saying “I’m very competitive” to “I gave up” and I feel that energy 😂😅
When he explains where Hawaiian pizza comes from canada you literally see her panic enough to start almost laughing uncontrollably as she realizes "oh shit i thought I was an expert in food knowledge and I have zero idea what he's talking about"
Olivia: talks about how she knows about food and is competitive
Also Olivia: Gets absolutely swamped
Even though Josh said he didn’t know some of these, we all know deep down that he knew every answer but was going easy on the others
jokes aside, josh is like…incredibly smart. my jaw was on the ground this entire time simply from his memory
And guarantee everything he didn't know, is now in his memory storage for the rest of his life 😂
“There’s less light behind his eyes” had me ROLLING
Shayne's reaction when Saige got her first point was dope! He's legit happy and excited more than when Josh answers lol
Saige: "o he said we're frens 🥰"
Yo, thats a vibe
Josh is the ultimate form of a kid with ADHD in the world of food media, and it's awe-inspiring to watch.
He may have adhd. I’m not gonna comment on that, but I aver he is gifted. Adhd doesn’t make people absorb information like it’s oxygen.
@@grumblefkitty Wasn't trying to make generalizations, sorry if it came across that way! But Josh has mentioned that he has ADHD in the past. Many people with ADHD can "hyperfocus" on things that are particularly interesting/mentally stimulating for them. This can be things like learning a new skill, taking up a new hobby, or learning about a new subject. Josh is super passionate about food and cooking, so I'd bet that he's spent more than a few times "hyperfocusing" on the internet and absorbing a ton of cool information. This honestly just makes him a more interesting and entertaining internet personality. We love him for it!
Whoever had him in the contestants instead of hosting is a mad scientist level genius of chaos
No Olivia you just didn’t know none of the answers u didn’t give up😂😂
I absolutely love that the cocky competitive one ended the game with a big fat zero after rejecting the idea of sharing points with disgust
Love this, Mythical Josh is not only educational but almost starts a riot between every question. The chaos is delicious.
I would love to see Josh more often honestly. He was funny as hell.
Mythical kitchen is his channel from gmm. Cause he deserves his own channel 😊
i love Josh sm, he has studied the food industry since he was a kid. he creates new mouth watering dishes on GMM and Mythical Kitchen, and i hope he has his own restaurant someday.
Can we have Chef Josh return, but having him cook some wicked Eat or Yeeters??
I have not watched yet, and I already know that Mythical Chef "Broe Brogan" Josh is going to absolutely murk the competition
Update, they were indeed murked
I believe he goes “thighs Fieri” now
"We should have gotten Trevor. Trevor is dumber." Funniest line ever!
3:28 I love how Olivia said "No, I'm a solo person" and then in the end she didn't get any right answer. 😂😂😂😂
I love how excited Sage gets when she gets it right or can pick a question. I get excited for her lol
Did anyone honestly expect Josh to NOT win?
Also, get Trevor on.
nicole woulda had great energy for this game aswell i think
@@fagetaboutit4968 ohh they should have had all 4 of the mythical chefs against each other
I will take Josh on every single channel because he's a god damn treasure.
THIS!! Cause SAME
Olivia: I knew it was Subway!
Also Olivia: *didn't buzz in*
If Gordon Ramsay was the Prime Minister of the UK, he'd definitely invade Canada simply for inventing Hawaiian pizza
Well the UK can’t invade their own. Canada is still under the queen
Also on people who put pineapple on pizza
Olivia: I'm a super competitive person
Before the final beopardy
Olivia: I'm just gonna- I'm just gonna chill
I want to see Josh on a Try Not to Laugh!! This was great
I want him to be a contestant on Cutthroat Kitchen. I feel like he'd buy sabotages, give them to himself, and still win.
Edit: How awesome would it be to have him, Christina Tosi (founder of Milk Bar), Guy Fieri, and Gordon Ramsay all go up against one another on that show?
Would be very funny. Love the idea!
actually kinda proud of myself for remembering the chocolate chip origin story before josh said it. i didn't have all the details, but i thought the recipe had called for melted down chocolate but she was on a time crunch and chopped a bar up instead (couldn't nuke it in the microwave - they weren't invented yet)
Josh just feels like he knows a lot of obscure food facts, I mean in his shows, he just goes off on the strangest but entertaining tangents on anything
Kieth's "That is some bulls**t" had me in tears. That was such a real reaction.
Kinda curious how many points Damien would've gotten if he was on here since he's very knowledgeable about a lot of stuff and is a quick buzzer too lol.
I think Damien would have trailed for the first time
I love how Shayne's face lit up when he was read the card "...Eduard Haas the 3rd"... thinking of his work husband, no doubt.. X3
as an italian, espresso means express and not pressed out, "pressato" is pressed out
I'm so happy Josh is back. He is out here figuratively and literally FLEXING. I would pay money to watch him fight the Chosen and win.
For anybody looking for the kindest, funniest, and most gorgeous guy who knows cooking like the back of his hand, Josh is your man!
Olivia was infuriating in this episode. Like girl 🤦🏼♀️
ADHD is Josh’s superpower.
Watching this group of people finally discover the vastness of the gap in knowledge between them and a professional in a field is a wonderful thing.
Man I was so fascinated to learn so much about food, was sad that everyone else kinda made him feel bad about his passion. I would love to have him back again for a eat it or yeet it where if they don't know the answer of a fact they have to eat a bad version of the food!! (right answers get good food!!!)
i think he was a guest for one eat it or yeet it
@@maryvstheworld3832 yeah he was! But would be good as a host where he makes the food :)
@@shannontc He does make the food, the cooking for the show is a group effort.
Such a good idea
You commented this a year ago, but I must say that I don't think they *actually* made him feel bad. I believe it was just a collection of jokes with no ill intent and no harm done
Saige is a blessing in this video lol 6:24 is the best example "aww he said we're friends"
I wanna see Damien and Josh go head to head in a trivia game - lets make it happen
yessss
This video was so incredible, seeing Josh just crush everyone on this Beopardy segment was so hilarious and great to see. I was really impressed by the full knowledge Josh had on the questions he got correct and explaining the origins
Damien: Knows all the answer but is considerate of other players
Chef Josh: Knows all the answers but is savage af
6:18 aw, he said we’re friends 🥰
I love how distressed Shayne gets over Josh’s knowledge lmaoo
Damien: yo I gotta chill out getting these questions right
Josh: foreal? bruh that's wild
when you do a Food Bepordy, and invite Mythical Chef Josh, you know he's gonna just dominate.
olivia just gets more and more angry as the video goes on 😂😂😂
Olivia fizzled out around the same time Sage and Keith picked up the pace
The fact that Josh knows more than one province makes me happy.
Exactly what I was thinking LOL!
Same! I'm always pumped when people know even one, let alone multiple.
Same! I also love that Shane gave him the final beopardy even though his guess was 2 decades and half a country off
@@BazTardSword I mean did it matter in the end? He won either way lol

Saige's only take away from this being that Josh said they were friends. This was like watching Wayne Gretzky play against Timbits hockey players 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i love shayne casually flirting with josh in the final beopardy when he’s like “oh i thought you’d be a wings guy”

Josh being on this makes it instantly better!
Damien and Josh: Kings of holding back so the others don't feel bad
This guy Josh absolutely rules, no sarcasm, god damn this was satisfying to watch
This was sooo relatable as someone who’s pretty knowledgeable on obscure trivia, is competitive and likes to show off smarts, yet also doesn’t wanna intentionally ruin it for everyone else 😭
found smosh two or three months ago... consumed ALL their content up to date as of today... super talented bunch. Love you guys and all the great content
The squeal of joy and surprise Saige let out every time she got something right was the best part of this.
It would be if you couldn’t see her physically force it out sometimes
I genuinely cannot stand her 💀🤚🏼
