    It wasn't the loss of the Tea, it was more about the policy supporting it. Britian basically imposed taxes and restricted commerce "You can only buy tea from this company and a tax is included". Hence why free commerce is such a part of our history and why medical care in the US is so screwed.

    • @IlimelekiTiko
      @IlimelekiTiko Před rokem +4

      Indeed! I cracked up when they mentioned something about inflation. But if I might add, it was also a clear show of defiance and resistance towards the oppressive and tyrannical rule of the British towards the colonies at the time. If we go way back to post 1763, after the Seven Years war (in which Britain emerged victorious against France) the Crown had incurred a massive debt - war is an expansive business even when you win.
      So, to mitigate the adverse effects of this debt, Britain decided that the North American colonies would share the burden of clearing this debt. This ultimately led to the implementation of various taxation policies that lacked American representation some of which included the Sugar Act of 1764, the Stamp Act of 1765, the Declaratory Act of 1766, the Townshends Act of 1767 and many others. This then led to colonists developing an aggravated and sour distaste of British policies and resulted in events such as the Boston Massacre of 1770 and the Boston Tea Party of 1773.

Categories could be “Chosen by the Crystals” for topics relating to the old Final Fantasy (1-6) “Defiers of Fate” for topics relating to the “golden age” of Final Fantasy (7-15, excluding 11 and 14), “Warriors of Light” for topics relating to the MMORPG games (11 and 14), “This, is Our Story...” for topics relating to spinoffs, sequels and collabs FF has had, “Jobs Available Here” for question on all the different “jobs” (and classes) in FF History, “Well Equipped” for question on all the different equipment in FF History. “The Final Bepody” would be matching the Numbered Protagonists (1 - 15 excluding 11 and 14) to their game. 11 and 14 are excluded from “The Final Bepody” and “Defiers of Fate” because they don’t have a “hero” to say of, other than you playing as an Original Character, and there’s so much information about the MMORPGs that it deserves it’s own category
