"The Knack At Carnegie Hall" deserves a DVD re-release. This is a great show. I saw them at in Chicago around 1980 at a show sponsored by a radio station-I was blown away. R.I.P Doug
Saw them exactly one week earlier from this Carnegie Hall show in Detroit’s Masonic Auditorium… 10/3/79… anyways distinctly remember them playing this Kinks tune, they did play a few songs that were new to us if they weren’t on Get The Knack album, they did do a few new songs which like this one ended up their second album …but the little girls understand. Can still remember they almost played the entire Get The Knack album leaving off Maybe Tonight, Monkey and Me and That’s What The Little Girls Do…. Their encore song was A Hard Days Night, they brought up the house lights and pandemonium ensued, it was electric and totally bonkers when they ripped into The Beatles classic!
