They did not have to do that. You can tell that it was very genuine and that they loved his music as a lot of others do. Big props to these two for this beautiful tribute!!! I'm sure that morning they had a long conversation about Phifes contribution to hip hop. That was mad mad mad respect!!!!!

a lot of respect for these guys. that was a genuine display of respect for ATCQ and there impact on society. It was done with brilliance and they have to be a huge ATCQ fan in order to mix it in flawlessly like that.
amazing so glad that this was something encouraged by the station, it's a huge cultural loss, I feel very sentimental to the loss of phife dawg as he passed very similarly to my mother, who was 46 and a type 1 diabetic, rest easy phife dawg.
