This village is dark. A lone shinobi walks on his way toward the gate. Sasuke had finally made up his mind. His clash with Naruto, as well as his encounter with Itachi, had convinced him that he could grow far stronger under the tutiladge of Orochimaru. If anything, he hopes to compare to the Sound Four as a start. But as he reaches the gate, he hears someone call out to him. “Sasuke!” It was Sakura. She stood in his path. She asked him not to go, and threatened to scream. She said anything she could to make him stay. She even confessed her obvious love to him. Sasuke stood there silently, thinking about everything she was saying. He turned to look at her. He then nodded. “...Okay… I won’t leave…”

Really feels like it was a missed opportunity not to have Sasuke train under Anko as a substitute for Orochimaru.
I mean, considering the fact that she herself managed to avoid the temptation of the Curse Seal and is the only person in Konoha who has the Snake Summoning contract, she would have been the perfect option for Sasuke's teacher. That way the whole "Sasuke gains Sage Mode" part feels more natural.

I thought if Sasuke didn't train with Orochimaru and went through everything he did, he wouldn't be as strong. But this proved me wrong 😂
Maybe it was best for Sasuke to leave besides we'll still see him in some scenes and if he didn't train with Orochimaru he wouldn't have anything to summon on the 4th great Shinobi world war

Everyone needs to do a What If series... It did wonders for Marvel, it could do the same for anime too
the naruto makers kinda did this where there was a filler where naruto was in a "dream" or whatever and minato was still alive. i think fugaku was also alive. despite being a filler, it was really cool and I wish they explored more of this kind of stuff
They do already. Many fillers in naruto as well as the movies are what if stories. Most dragon ball movies are a what if story, including GT
The question is, how much will it cost to make a What ir series? And how much money will it make in order for it to be a success?

Sai is dead. While sasuke was fighting danzo in the video. Naruto was fighting root which in the video said included sai since they didn't need a replacement for sasuke which was here in this What If. So sai is dead and Ino still loves sasuke so they marry

What if Shino was the main character and hadn't been turned into an after-thought? ... I wanna see just how nasty he would have become. We seen how OP his brothers potential was.
Or instead of Sai, they expanded on Shino by placing him on team 7 under Yamato during Sasukes absence.

It's an interesting idea but this doesn't really go into the character development and such that happened when Sasuke left. Sakura doesn't get the resolve to become Tsunade's apprentice until after Sasuke leaves. Naruto also is greatly affected by the fight with Sasuke which drives him to work harder than ever and is part of his desperation in his issues with his powers and the seal slipping and is part of why Naruto has this whole thing of forgiveness and why he really matures later on. It all goes back to his relationship with Sasuke. If they don't have a falling out and such that key development wouldn't happen.
This is true but things would solve out differently. Sasuke would be pissed that Naruto is ahead of him and train even harder with Kakashi, eventually leading Naruto to train harder, they would constantly taunt each other and keep improving. Sasuke would still have his goal of defeating itachi, this was his motivation for training. Sakura would feel left out because the power gap between her and t7 would be too big and she would decide to become useful, so she would probably still train under tsunade. Sasuke wouldn’t have snake techniques but I could see him learn some advanced techniques from Kakashi, and maybe create some of his own. Imagine lightning beast tracking fang with Amaterasu infused.

Saskues story is weird to me because I won’t deny having the edgy rival actually become a villain protagonist was an interesting direction to go this story is more narratively satisfying to me. Like despite being the more conventional path it hits the best beats of Saskues original arc while taking away the elements that made Shippuden Saskue kinda annoying.
13:37 naruto doesn't use his tailed beast power, he only uses his own chakura in those scenarios. You can tell by the blue chakura thats depicted. This is in contrast to the red chakura from the tailed beast which naruto used I believe at the end off the battle vs garra to headbutt him, and in many other situations.

You probably have gotten this before and I say this because I do like her concept and think she got screwed by the plot ( Naruto and Sasuke becoming gods) Let's not forget she just about beat sasori by herself although chiyo did help a bit. Tenshi Bridge would never happen. They only had that information because Sakura wanted info on Orochimaru from Sasori. Because she wanted to get Sasuke back. If Sasuke never leaves, that never happens.
I'm honestly not sure Obito would be able to take the Sharingan from Kakashi on his own. It took Madara to do that in canon.
This is how I think it would go :
Sakura would give her life to Naruto but, she had learnt an ability that no byakugo user never heard of it's the power to revive your self in the return of your byakugo, so she would lose the byakugo, so you might be thinking wait when Obito was opening the portals to find which dimension Sasuke was in you would think Sasuke is there forever right well instead of Sakura helping Obito there it would be Kakashi he would say give me one of your eyes and Obito does that Kakashi has enough chakra to open portals so he doesn't run out of chakra so he opens it and finds Sasuke then Obito would still have 1 eye but when Obito was dying he would pluck out his other eye and give it to Kakashi And now Kakashi has permanent DMS he could never lose it so he would fight Kaguya and fourth great Shinobi war ends and everything goes as is in the main timeline of Boruto
And now you might be thinking Sakura is now weak again she doesn't have her byakugo anymore
No she will reunlock a new one

If Sasuke never left, he wouldn't have mastered CS2. Konoha would've gotten rid of it even before the what-if Itachi fight. Kakashi condemned its use. If Sasuke never left, he would be just another Kakashi with better Sharingan aptitude. However, it's irrelevant. I like the whole thing in general. Liked.
