I have had one of these, three litres since around 2008 and it has given rock solid service on gas, and also Solar cooking.
Eventually I had to sell it (I got £30 😅), as I now have an induction job.
Today I received my new Induction wale, 3 litre.

Great daal; 5 mins on Induction level 6.
For daal in normal cooker you need 4,5 whistle , in this cooker you need only 1 whistle and turn the flame low after that or turn it up and wait for another whistle, please let me know . I have also brought this cooker in 4 liters but haven’t used it still . Thank you

Futura is it's only kind of pressure cooker which provides following benefits:
1. It's entire body is Hard Anodized which provides a longer life.
2. It's base is 6.35mm thick and anodised which in result helps in heat retaining and evenly cooking.
3. It is faster than other pressure cooker and even cooks even 46% faster than microwave oven.
4. It maintains the pressure of 15 PSI inside while cooking which results in frequent whistling or no long whistling. Need not to worry. Don't count whistles, count time.
5. This is the only Indian product which is kept in the museum of modern art, New York.
Could you please share the time interval required for daily food like rice ,dal ,vegetables ,potatoes?

Madam मैं तो 15 साल से use कर रहीं हु सबसे बडी बात तो आपने इसका manual तो देखा ही नहीं है सब दिया हुआ है इसका सबसे कम time 1 min का है आपको इसे नॉर्मल कुकर जैसा use नहीं करना है दाल चावल 3,4 min मे हो जाता है ओर 10, 15 min standby time है सबसे अच्छा to गॅस ओर टाइम कम लगता है, उसका ही पैसा हमने दिया है इसका वजन ओर पैसे से कोई संबंध नहीं है मैंने तो gas or time bach रहा हैं इसलिए ही kharida tha or ab स्टेनलेस स्टील का भी खरीदा

If the cooker is full, then do you face an issue to open it. I mean will the rice or biryani get stick to the lid while opening.
This is because I can see that while opening, you need to bring the lid handle to 90 degree with the pan handle. And then twist and open the lid.

Hi mam.. u won't belive I got this 5 ltr futura cooker for wedding and I thought aise hi bekaar cooker chipka diya shaadi me as I did not know how to use as there was no whistle sound coming.. but after watching your video I really am surprised that I had actually got an expensive gift am planning to use it now..after 5 years😂

How to know how many whistles? How to count or know
You wait for the cooker to pressurize, then count minutes. That is it. For example, Rice is 5 mins after pressure. Dal is 10 mins if you want to depressurize naturally. For forceful depressurization, count double.

We have a Futura 5 Litre 34T069274 Pressure Cooker. We have been using it for last ten years. But now it giving us a problem. When we try to cook the DAL in the cooker after the Pressure Regulator is stuck and releasing steam. Unable to press it down. Please let me know what is problem and what part need to replace.

Using this product for more tha 10 years now but Recently been facing the same problem.not being able to press the regulator once it starts releasing steam...then on checking the regulator ,found out that there is a pin in the center which got loose that’s why I could’nt place the regulator on the handle....

After you hear a pressure releasing sound in cooker, 15-20 minutes on low flame. It also depends on quality of Chole Rajma.

Approximately 20-25 min, You can also check your normal cooker how much time it takes to have 5 whistles.

Hawkins ki warranty main kya cover hota hai mujhe samjh nahi ata, 1 saal main mere hawkins futura 3L cooker ka handle tut gaya woh cover nahi, safety wall 2 baar leak ho gaya woh cover nahi, pressure nahi ban raha theek se woh cover nahi.

1-2 kg aloo k liye. Jab full steem banne lage to flame kam karke 7-8 minutes boil hone de fir gas band kar de.

I used this cooker for two years, then changed the sealing ring once, after that the steam is just coming out from the lid. Since then I have also replaced new valve and got another two new sealing rings but the cooker is not yet building up pressure. Please advice some tips. I used this product and it used to work very well.
I am also facing the same problem after changing its gasket after 2 years. Will let you know if I get the solution.

@kulsum sayani.. lid k handle ko andar ki taraf se check kijiye 2 screw lage hote hain, usme se koi nikal to nahi gaya. If yes pls naya screw lagwa le problem theek ho jaegi

this is a fantastic product which uses less gas and cooks better. just need to change the mindset as it is a different product with different way of working. once you adapt and learn the results are better than traditional cooker.
