I juice some and put in freezer to keep for whenever we need a boost of vitamin c! I also safe the peels, some in dehydrator for tea, some in freezer to use in immune boosting smoothies!
Oranges freeze pretty well. Cut 1/4"-1/2" wide slices across the whole orange, (peel on), and freeze on cookie sheets then bag and put back into the freezer. Go old school amd use as an edible garnish and digestion aide. These work as snacks; removed from skin, chopped/ segmented, and added to green and grain salads; they work in water like lemon slices; use in baked goods. Zest and dry, zest for zest orange sugar, or use to make a zest based syrup. Use the peels to make a cleaner, sugared orange rinds, and more. Peel, segment, freeze on a cookie tray, bag and refreeze the segments. Use the frozen or thawed segments for snacking, desserts, and more. I believe they can be canned too.

You can save a couple of dollars if you buy the 5 gallon buckets at Tractor Supply, but Azure has the best price for the Gamma lids that I've found! 👍
