Our first attempt at honey bees (and our first epic failure!)

Join us as we prepare for, pick up, and try to install our first nucs into our bee hives. After selecting a cozy place at the corner of the yard, laying down a mulch bed, building a support table, purchasing hives, ordering bees, picking up the bees, and trying to install them in our hives... we face their first epic failure! What happened to our bees!?
We're so excited to have our own pollinators and, eventually, our own honey. These two hives should be a great addition to our homestead (if we can keep them alive!)

if you ran AC for very long, could have contributed to the dead bees, however the bigger problem if that is the scenario is that the brood also was chilled, which is worse, hopefully not the case
