Vastly underrated city - food, culture, architechture, wine districts to the south and Alps to the north, Monte Bianco is just 1,5 hours away. Sorry to discover that the San Carlo incidents (I was there myself) have had a negative effect on tourism, apparently. I can see the parcheggio area is still being blocked. Would recommend Turin anytime as a great destination. Visit while it is still relatively free of tourism, contrary to say Firenze.
