Beautiful movie- can we appreciate life & love & our children or friends, the little flowers on out garden, a quite dive in the old road ... just when we know ,,, it’s time to go ...
Wish I knew earlier or I could go back and live better or love harder ...

I watched my brother go through the same thing with his wife, she picked another wife for him very sad he took care of her at home and worked plus they ran a animal rescue .He cared for her til her last breath. No one really knows what the husband goes through.it broke his heart for 15 years. He loved her dearly. My sister-in-law she was so brave and strong . I love 💕 her and miss her

Caught only half of this film on TV and was so impressed with its sensitivity. The familiarity I sensed started when Clayburg talks about being a swimming champ. Then the superb TV series The Big C came to mind. Amazing actresses and support cast in both this and The Big C. Fine script writing in this film.

I remember watching this on tv when it came out. I guess not much has changed in the field of cancer since then.

Fist movie of Cyndy Preston (age 18), who later starred as Faith Roscoe in General Hospital (and also voice of animated Princess Zelda).

Back when movies for tv were pretty good. Not like the garbage on tv today.

Hard to see this cuz Jill Clayburgh actually did die pretty young of some chronic disease, I think. She was a good actress.

I'm trying to find a movie or TV show Tom might have been in. All I can remember that it was set in a dystopian future where they take people who would have died in major accidents before it happens, and evacuate them to populate a new world through some type of stargate. I think it was made in the 80s. Not even sure if Tom was in it. If anyone can point me to it I would be grateful. If it helps, I remember that when in the future , if they threw a finished cigarette a blue laser would come out of nowhere and vaporise it.

There are NO marriages like that. Like, seriously. Cute to see but inexistent.

Close to 30 years this August and he's still the best part of my day.
Miscarriage of our only child; several emergency surgeries;, emotional struggles from childhood abuse; mental issues; unemployment; multiple deaths in our families; etc, etc...Still best friends through it all!
Marriages like this do indeed exist.

There were marriages like that in those days, and before. True its very rare today. If youre married, you can make your marriage like this if you make the choice. In any case, God be with you.
