Demasted Boat Yard Disaster Part 2!

- Our Gemini 105mc catamaran sailboat is having some terrible luck in the boat yard. First the bulkhead fiberglass getting ripped out because of improper placement of the blocks and now a mast falls down! We need to get out of here and back to sailing our catamaran in beautiful locations around Mexico. The stress levels are super high as we try and repair our boat and leave town.

That boat yard is definitely one to avoid, fortunately, I will never be sailing in Mexico so I don't have to worry, But we all praise Yards, Suppliers, Fitter, Riggers etc for doing a good job. Nothing wrong in pointing out places, people to avoid so that others don't fall foul of iffy work.
Agreed! Unfortunately in the sea of Cortez with a catamaran we have very limited options for boat yard storage. We won’t be going back there for sure though!

Where is the bulkhead repair video？
The workers at the boatyard did the fiberglass repair as they were the ones who did the damage. I didn’t get a chance to film everything.
How did you patch the dingy？
The dinghy patch was filmed in the “boat yard disasters video”. I did a whole piece of filming on just doing the patch 🤙🏼

Yeah man with a toddler, wife, running our business, and trying to sail around full time not everything gets filmed 100%. These are glimpse into our life. But thanks for watching.
