I change them out from time to time. Currently I have two glass plugs and two Titanium tunnels. The helix jewelry has been for a while it's a teardrop shaped bezel cz on the bottom and a fanned two ring hinged ring with a cz. My couch has a Titanium anchor that I anodized to seafoam green. Thank you for watching.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing awesome! I only just noticed you have a conch piercing in this video! Thanks for all the information you put out here, it's always helpful and reassuring 🤘
Thanks for another very informative video. I have a piercing in each nostril. I've tried all the different types of nostril jewelry. The labret stud is my favorite. I loose L bend, corkscrew, and bone (these are worthless).
Yes, Colleen, those other jewelry option are more prone to issues. The labret is a much better option. Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
Theres anorher option called a nose cuff that resembles a ring, but the post inside is straight. Might be a good option for someone who is waiting fir their nostril to heal.
I would not suggest them during the healing. The jewelry has a great deal more contact and movement. Both of which will increase the risk of issues. Also the flat are may or may not be long enough to allow for swelling and because they usually are one size fits all, there is no way to downsize.
It isn't a common piercing grouping. The biggest thing is getting the placement right. The it is getting the angle right. When they mark them study it heavily and make sure you are happy with the placement.
I have both sides done, the left healed easy and perfect, the right I got sick right after it was double the healing time guess that's what I get for trying to avoid healing in pollen season. And no I don't sleep on that side
My nostril piercing still incurs dry skin around it 1.5yrs later. Pierced with a needle, stud for 1yr, switched to hoop, white gold, each time following showers still has dry skin, not necessarily at the piercing site but adjunct to it. No bumps etc just flakey skin, any experience with this?
My first thought is that you maybe still cleaning it and possibly using a harsh cleaner like antibacterial soap. Once the piercing is healed there is no reason to continue to clean the piercing. Otherwise I would suggest seeing your piercer and have them take a look.
I know this is totally off topic but does you're tongue barbell cause any damage to your gums? If not, what did you do to prevent it? Also I'm supposed to be getting my left nostril peirced tomorrow
The main ways to avoid issues are to pierce as far away from the gums as you can, wear jewelry that is the correct size and don't play with the jewelry. How did your nostril piercing go?
@BodyPiercingTattooing My nostril piercing went better than I thought, I'm into the 2nd week of having it, it's now Wednesday and got it the first Saturday of this month. Going through the occasional itching stage, going well except for every morning it's seems like my left hand has a mind of it's own and goes up to scratch it on my left nostril, other than that everything is good
Ha! You changed your earrings! In all your videos, I find myself mentally 'turning' your head to see what piercings you've got 😅

Make sure you keep it clean and use the saline your piercer told you too. You will save yourself a lot of heartache. LOL
Yes, it is so simple. In fact modern piercing aftercare is the simplest and easiest it has ever been.
