Everyone talking about how surprised they are to see someone other than Daniel here.
My thoughts: The composed and calm acting done so very well by the man was so unnerving and engaging that I enjoyed this sketch a lot more because of it. Also makes this one stand out a lot more than the others.

I love how well produced this video is compared to the others. The contrast and value range, the lighting (shot on shadow side instead of making everything super bright), the depth of field, more calculated camer angles, slight camera movements (artificial, i'd bet), and even the video proportions make it look like a movie. It's kinda like all his other videos were a simulation as well.

Just a continuity thing I noticed. When the guy asked Daniel if he had ever been to Chuck-E-Cheese, Daniel says “Maybe, like decades ago.” He still is coping with the fact that he’s in his 20s, so of course he would reply as if he were 76.

It's funny how much impact the aspect ratio has on the viewers. That's literally the only thing that changed.

There is an intro with sound effects, another actor, more dramatic lighting, props, shot reverse shots, the humor and scripting is more movie-like and serious than the usual silliness of this channel, an extended storyline compared to his other vids... Many things make this feel “professional.”

This lighting can be seen in many videos, because it's literally just his window. Also the scripting doesn't change the appearance of the skit, which is what we're talking about.
Granted, widescreen is not literally the only thing that changed, but I'd still argue it had the biggest impact out of all the changes.

Actually there's more to that. Video has a language in itself you know, language that's applied to sound, camera movement, camera lenses millimeters, coulor pallete and framework. That's why you can tell without knowing the difference of a movie clip and a music clip.
He probably had a crew working to give a cinematography look, the mms of the lens are different as so the frameworks (how and where they fit the actors in the scene) and also the coulors. The whites are way too highlited and also the contrast more strong.
