- Aloha and Mahalo yo! Nahko Bear and I did a fun little video shoot in March of 2011 and this is some archived footage that I recently happened upon and had yet to edit together. I felt compelled to do that and share it with y'all now. One in the Chamber is a beautifully powerful song I am grateful to have recorded with Nahko in this intimate setting with simply Nahko, a piano, and two cameras. This is Medicine for the People. My step father was shot in the chest the beginning of this month an passed away on my couch,about 3 weeks before i told him i thought he would like this song, because of the last verse never was i able to relate to the first verse till now 😢

It's so interesting to catch a glimpse of Nahko in his darkness. He has devoted so much of his life to lifting others up in thier darkness. I can tell after meeting him he has a very lonely side to his character. I got So much love for this fucking dude!

Positive and negative are opposite ends of the balance beam we walk in this life.. Stay balanced or forever remain chasing an imbalanced life of "positivity" .. the belief that all must be "positive" to afford Positive change is a myth perpetrated by those who seek to keep us off balance .. find balance and realize life is not all "positive" & that the negative things that occur are there for our growth .. Balance is thwarted when the lust for positivism causes us to avoid all the lessons that the "negative" situations of life that are intended to cause change in us are avoided under the guise of "positivism" .. if we are Honest w/our own Heart we experience both positive and negative experiences until we find Balance which can only be achieved by the presence of both positive and negative energies in our lives.. Nahko knows and weaves this truth into much of his music.. May you all find the ability to Balance within the positive and the negative energies in which we all swim .. Peace

He is amazing. I saw him last year in 2017 and I'm going to see him again in 2018. He has so much power, soul and just raw talent in his voice. His music has brought me out of the darkness and into the light of my own personal journey. You must be one proud mama. We all love Nahko.
