Break Down, Rise Up ~ Black Lives Matter
A look at Portland, Oregon on May 29th, 2020 during the initial protests downtown and the smashing of the Apple store (among many others) and a look from June 18th of the amazing transformation that took place there and throughout downtown with all the incredible art created on the boarded up buildings in response to the #BlackLivesMatter movement and what has become the largest uprising and sustained civil and human rights campaign the world has ever seen. Coming from the pain and suffering from police violence and brutality that stems from systemic racism in this country.

I was and still in crisis with mental health and I have workers trying to keep me relapsing into hospital again. I have the recorded version on my phone. Glad to see this playlist still lives in this far off corner of CZcams🥲 I’ve left abuse, recovered from a debilitating illness, got my ged, got an education and am still fighting to this day.
