question sir: So I've had the free Hilton Honors card for a year, and just got an upgrade offer on it for 100K points for $2K in spend. I was just thinking of applying for the surpass first to get the 130K point intro bonus for $2K in spend. I saw in your video that I must apply for that intro bonus first. Can I take take advantage of both offers in the same day as long as I apply for that intro bonus first, or should space the two out and wait until at least receive the intro bonus card to accept the upgrade offer?

I just tried to get into Sky Club and they rejected me because my flight wasn’t within three hours. Got there at 2 pm but they wanted me to walk around till 3…hard pass in my book

I was at this lounge a few days ago and I was in awe the entire time. I love the Centurion lounges, but this Delta lounge is hands down my favorite.
LAX Centurion Lounge feels a lot weaker to me; video soon hopefully :)
✈️ there is a new delta sky club coming to Chicago! I forget the size but I think it's close to 30k sqft. I was lead design team that redesigned the existing terminal and built the space for delta to build out their club.

That lounge looks amazing. My partner was never interested in airport lounges, until I basically forced her to go into one when she traveled alone a few months ago. She loved it and now makes an effort to get to the airport early enough to enter a lounge. She was really happy, because the flight was delayed and there no seating by the gate and she was able to relax, eat , etc without having to seat on the floor.

✈✈✈We really enjoy visiting Delta Sky Clubs. We happened to visit the new LAX one and thought it was pretty nice. Great assortment of food and beverages and plenty of spots to sit. We also were able to visit what I guess was the original Sky Club in LAX. It was also very nice with good views. They served ribs at the time which was a nice treat! I agree with your top five. ✈ I just visited the LAX Skyclub a couple weeks ago. It's pretty great! My home Skyclub is SLC, and it's almost as good as the club in LAX. I love the outdoor seating area. The specialty food item was street tacos.
Went there on a whim and 5 stars! Great exp, space, food, service. We didn’t feel like walking to the Amex centurion lounge 😂

Sky club was great use of an eight hour layover with good meal selections and coffees in LAX, your visit looks incredibly less busy and appreciate the explanation.
I think they do a good job with "mapping" here as well; even when it's packed, it feels pretty bearable.
It may not be the nicest from an aesthetic view, but the customer service I received at the Houston Amex lounge was top notch. I'll be checking out the LA one soon.
Agreed! Mandy and I have IAH as #1 for service. I've noticed other lounges (i.e., SFO) are really "hands on" for Centurion guests (black card holders) but pretty much ignore everyone else.
I feel like with IAH, they're actually really nice to everyone :)

Had just grabbed my bag and made it to the shuttle pick up area when the "suspicions vehicle" thing happened. They didn't give us any information outside. Just that traffic was being redirected and we had to move to another shuttle pick up zone. It was an absolute mess.
This club is an absolute game changer flying out of LAX though. Old club was very cramped and overcrowded.
Definitely the weirdest airport experience we've had in awhile :)

Flying delta at LAX next week, I also have the Amex platinum with centurion and delta lounge access. However I have 3 guests, is it still 2 complimentary guests? How much for the extra guest? We are all flying delta.

I remember when I was landing at the LAX Delta Sky Airport I didn’t have any chance to lounge at the LAX Delta Sky Club areas. I had no idea how great and welcoming it was until I saw many videos on CZcams, I definitely want to be a part of team work therefore I make a difference to the company .
7:15 FYI, Delta is no longer carrying Dom in the SkyClubs due to shortages of it. Apparently, it's been hard to find lately in the SkyClubs and they are officially cutting it (not sure if this is permanent or a temporary cut). I've never gotten it so I guess I'll never get to try it lol

TYVM! An extremely minor point is it would be helpful for airports I don't visit often for you to mention the terminal convenience. E.g., how much trouble is it to get to this T3 Sky Club for flights arriving or departing from Terminal 2.

This is nice. Seriously the delta lounge at jfk terminal 2 is in need of overhaul, it’s super dated looking. I still like my hometown SEA the best, I can pick between delta and centurion whichever has the shortest line to get in.

This is really similar to the Salt Lake delta sky club. I was up there for work and was pleasantly surprised especially when comparing it to the bigger hub lounges. I thought the sky lounge there was better than my centurion lounge in DFW and definitely better than the DFW Sky Lounge
Huge fan of the SLC lounge; not sure why it didn't click to me that it's very similar (outside area, nice bar, etc.) I guess I always associate the SLC one with the fireplace area 🔥

Been to the new LAX Sky Club a couple of times, it bumped Seattle as having the best Sky Club I've visited. Currently sitting in one on the other end of spectrum; the Minneapolis Sky Club. It is on the smaller size, with dated upholstery, and no view.
I feel like the MSP one has the best snacks though! But yeah, definitely a different vibe.

Delta sky team club is like a first class lounge. Version of American Airlines and United Airlines first class international lounge delta only has one. United and American has two lounges one regular lounge that can be used as a yearly pass and American Airlines has it as well but United American has a first class international lounge that is only three enter lets the international first class ticket on their partners.
I’m in the LAX Delta lounge at least 2x per week. Yes, it is stunningly beautiful. Bathrooms are fine (but I haven’t had a shower). But some real negatives. Those phone booths are ALWAYS packed. Over the last month, I was only able to get in once or twice (SLC has much more availability). But seriously-the food generally is just boring. I typically fly out in the am and the breakfast is always the same. I haven’t seen the other food area! I’ll try that Monday morning! I am so so so tired of Delta Club food (since that is my major food group these days). I’ve never seen the lounge empty, by the way. Always jammed. In fact, I’ve gone back to the old lounge above gate 22 because it is quieter. I’m sure I’d enjoy it more if I drank booze, but for now….solid 5. Also, Delta has been putting people out at Gates 135 so be sure you know if you got moved to the international because it takes forever to go from club to the shuttle gate to international. Lesson learned.

Yep! Agreed that breakfast is a bit of a weak spot and the food (for most of the mainstream lounges) is pretty repetitive. It's "fine" for normal people who travel 1-2 times a month; I could easily see how it's boring if you're a consultant!

This looks at least as nice as the Lufthansa 1st Class lounge in Frankfurt, although they probably don’t assign you a personal attendant or restaurant service. I love my Amex Platinum Card! Just have to put $75k on it each year now though.
