🪜 Although I have not made any of the mistakes you covered on this video, I just recently learned of the 5 Amex card limit and I already have 3 Hilton Amex cards, which I am now looking at as a mistake. I am looking at getting the Green card next time there is an elevated offer, but will definitely need to look at getting rid of at least one, if not two of the Hilton cards once I start climbing the family ladder to the Gold and Platinum. Is it true that Business Amex cards are included in this 5 card max? I'm looking at eventually adding the Blue Business card as well.

I cancelled my card here at renewal. Flying out of Denver, the Capital One Lounge is there and the Capital One Venture X is so much better than Amex Plat. American Express has so much price inflation on their travel portal. Transferring to delta incurs that fee and Hilton points are worthless.

You can convert the cash back from the active cash to autograph points. I’m assuming the same for this card.

🤠 Is the 4% only for US purchases, or are they worldwide? I tend to make purchases in the US, Mexico and Europe.

While this card can be good for some people, I don't think it's as practical for the average person the way the Chase Freedom lineup and Capital One Savor One are. I am not getting this card.

5:09 On Wells Fargo’s website they have the active cash and this attune card which they advertise as a cash back card also under the rewards category like the autograph and autograph journey You can combine your “cash back” from the active cash and the attune cards and transfer them as points to either autograph cards and transfer to Wells Fargo partners

Wells let's me move cash rewards from Active Cash to my Autograph reward account, I would expect these to be convertible as well

🤠This really seems like a great option and foil for every other purchase I wouldn't put on my gold card. Especially with the SavorOne UberOne/10% cash back promo ending in November, this seems like a more useful option with no downsides. And keep the active cash for anything not covered by its 4% categories.

The value isn't there for me (especially with the $100 bonus), but this is a good 4x card (assuming they have an Autograph card) for people who shop alot in these categories. I'm glad that WF, like Capital One and Amex, realized that if they make their annual fee cards worth getting, they wouldn't need to hold transfer partners hostage. Hopefully in the near future they add some transfer partners and create a card to rival the Venture X. They could easily jump to 3rd place soon. Or Bilt could create a premium card and they could jump straight to 1st, if they made it easier to earn Bilt points.

And it has 0% APR for the first 12 months. This is really a steal

If you have both Wells Fargo cash back and points credit cards (e.g. Active Cash and Autograph) it's possible to convert cash back to points and vice-versa.

I believe this cash back will be able to convert to points. Just like the active cash.

Hopefully this puts chase and Amex on alert, maintain the fees or add more multipliers and “coupons” that are easier to use.

🤠Great job on this quick update and detail analysis! The card is more useful than I thought. It includes a lot of categories missed out from other cards on the market. The streaming, entertainment, transportation(Including EV charging) and recreation(huge!) are unbelievably all included! I will probably not get it because I am still team points but will definitely keep an eye on it to see if there will be a point variant in the future. Very happy to see Wells Fargo has new cards coming. Hope we can see these categories in new point reward cards in the future.

🤠 I just saw this pop-up on my Wells Fargo page today, and that B&H has me interested 🤔

This card, the us bank cash+ & the gm card are got tier only 3 cash back cards you need and blow every other card out of the water. The gm card as a no annual fee gives me $100 a year to use on gas or my electric bill. So I get paid to own it and as a Chevy guy I get one free detail. The us bank gives you 2 5% beck categories in literally everything. So with this care and the us bank card you can cover pretty much every category that niche for your life. Video games, all online purchases, utilities, gym memberships all recreation activities etc. literally everything except food which is already over saturated

🤠 1) I feel like this is the "new millennial parent who wants everything except food" card, or the "millennial with hobbies" card and getting 4% across so much stuff without an annual fee just put WF on my radar. Ironically enough, with the Paypal Card dropping to 1.5% soon, and me not traveling often to validate an annual fee travel card, WF suddenly seems like they're catering specifically to me with the Active Cash card and the Autograph, respectfully. 2) I'm a PetSmart Dog Groomer. Just that category alone makes me want this card (and I need to buy some of my other grooming supplies and even JoAnn fabrics for personalized dog perks like my own bandanas or bows.) I don't think I've seen a card have a consistent flat-rate offer specifically for pet stores (I see occasional Chase Offers or Amex Offers for Chewy) and with how much pets cost combined with 4% seems MASSIVE. If I was WF, I'd be hard-selling this category to the hilt. The fact it offers 4% for all the other merchants that it does online too helps a ton as it makes it my default card for a lot of stores over the Paypal card, now. It even beats the BCP for things like travel for Amtrak, which I'm doing in August AND NO ANNUAL FEE FOR THAT, EITHER? 3) I'm likely gonna apply for this once I hit "comment."

🤠 Great video! Thank you for all the info! It’s worth mentioning that with Wells Fargo credit cards you can transfer/convert your earned cash back to points and convert points to cash back. I have the Active Cash and the Autograph card and have done this.

Amex needs to remove equinox, bring back audible, and if they want credits, I don’t use the new entertainment credits. Like Saks. Considering demoting to green and promoting my green to gold.

🤠 On the topic of cashback vs miles, I see many sites talking about converting cashback into miles like savor one cashback into venture miles but never the other way around, is it possible to do convert miles to cashback? I don't actually know if it can work the other way around because I don't have any cards that transfer between each other but I assume it's possible. I ask this because I have friends that see value in getting a venture X but are on the fence about getting in the points and miles space and want to know if its possible to transfer the miles earned from the SUB to cashback.

My Active Cash card can transfer rewards to my Autograph card. If you can do the same thing with this card, it can be a really great points earner.

Just snagged it, because why not! haha. After looking at all the merchant examples for each category it was a no brainer for me especially being a no annual fee card. Seems like it'll be great for a lot of my miscellaneous spend.

WF cashback cam also be transferred to Autograph, at least Active Cash can.
