  • Lobster fishing used to be a "100-million-dollar industry" in Connecticut, fisherman Mike Kalaman said. Now he estimates he's one of 15 lobstermen in the Nutmeg State who continue to fish the species part-time, but the profitable full-time profession of a Connecticut lobsterman is, essentially, extinct.

    Its a tough job lobster fishing. I used to work on a lobster boat, i miss those days
