1:57 I'm sorry but the Ferrari F2004 is the still faster than any Formula 1 car made since. It has 12 still standing lap records, 8 of which are on tacks witch are sill on the F1 Calendar.

If F1 cars these days do not have fuel regulation, then F2004 wouldn't be as fast as it's made to be
Bach Nguyen exactly correct, all the lap times set by cars today in the race are either on high fuel or old tires, so there isn't really a fair comparison. Plus, they have similar horsepower, and a ton more grip so reasonably they'd be just as quick, if not quicker. And besides, the qualifying times are much faster than the old lap records.
The factory used to be brawn f1, Honda before that. Nothing to do with McLaren. When Mercedes bought brawn f1 team they got the factory and everything the team owned.

Ok so the reason that the factory is in the Uk as much as I would love to say because every thing is better in Britain but no... as you know if you follow F1 that Mercedes split up with McLaren and McLaren is English company and they basically owned Mercedes factories so when they split up Mercedes kept the factories with probably a lot of negotiating from Toto. So why move when you have 2 big factories and it's also the home land of Lewis Hamilton so why move?
+Henry Grey Mercedes AMG F1 uses the former BrawnGP/Honda/BAR factory. McLaren is based in Woking and is (of course) still using their Technology Centre opened in 2003.
Usually, F1 teams are based in Britain though some race with a foreign licence (RedBull, Force India, Mercedes, Renault; actually I'm not sure if Haas F1 is also based in the UK); only exceptions are Ferrari, Sauber and Toro Rosso.
Mercedes AMG F1 has absolutelly no connections to McLaren.
