Hello everybody!
Recently the album [Remastered Soundtrack] Mystic Square made by Paradise of Boundaries was released.
I participated and contributed several tracks so I will upload them little by little to the channel.
[Peaceful Romancer]
Another track that ended up sounding a bit different from the original.
At first I was planning to do something simple and short, but I was told that this track was going to sound like the closing of the stream and credits, so I decided to make it longer and try to give the track some closure.
You can see a lot of the influence I had with DDC's Staff roll and small references to 4 of their tracks.
As it happened with previous arrangements, DDC is practically new for me, so it's not a perfect arrangement structurally speaking and also in terms of the edit and mix...
I don't have much more to add, I feel I was able to convey that feeling of "This is the end", so I'm pretty happy about that.

This is a beautiful arrangement, very climactic, with parts that sound serious and others that sound peaceful (I was just surprised that the more peaceful part didn't appear again at 2:43, before the section that was extended).
I like these stellar instruments. The flute, female choir, drums and guitar are things I love very much. I'm not that deep into the TH14 style (apart from the things I just mentioned), so I'm not sure of the references. The only obvious reference to Staff Roll theme (which is related to Title screen theme) and to Final Boss theme (which is related to Ending theme and Final Stage theme).

In order not to lengthen the track I had to remove the quiet part you are talking about that should be played at 2:43.
Likewise the section at 3:14 can be considered a quiet part although it gives a slightly different feeling, but it still works
The references you got almost all of them hahaha.
The only one missing is the one from Stage 1 (2:29). In the melody and the trumpet playing in the background.

@@KarlZuniga It's true, things get a lot lighter in the section at the end you mentioned.
To be honest, I got a feel for the stage 1 theme (but didn't know where exactly). I was going to comment on this but decided not to, as it was the only part I wasn't sure about, haha. I think the melody you mentioned is the climax of stage 1, that must be it. This part of Peaceful Romancer I always found familiar, now it all makes sense. It was a smart reference.

@@KarlZuniga Excuse me, I think I understand what they meant. I remember once I saw the translation of the name of that site that ZUN sent several arrangements in the past. It means something like "Touhou Fantastic Music" (in Japanese, 東方幻想的音楽, as you can see in the image of many videos of Romantique Tp channel). That's probably what they meant by "fantasy music".
So, as I understand it, they thought it was cool that you arranged "Peaceful Romancer" based on the version of ZUN's old website arrangement (instead of simply the TH05 version). And so they're requesting a arrangement of "Hourai Illusion ~ far East" based on the version of ZUN's old website arrangement (although I think it's the only version available anyway).

I was going to reply as I had a good prospect of replying, but that is no longer necessary. Touhou Music Fan said most of what I wanted to say. I wanted to say by any means I could about the site that has so many great arrangements, but I'm not very good at talking, so I didn't know how to tell them, so they were very helpful.
