As a quick note before this video airs to head off questions re: H.B. 127 - it was introduced on Jan. 4 and has no co-sponsors, and has not been scheduled for committee. While it does include a provision for confiscating hundreds of million of magazines that exceed 10 rounds in capacity, it's probably not going anywhere. As mentioned in the video, the purpose of today's discussion is to operate under an assumption of what is more likely to occur, not to consider every possibility of what *could* occur. That isn't to say the threat of confiscation is not real, just unlikely compared to regulatory approaches.

What's funny about the "ak's are easilly built with hand tools and scrap metal" thing, is that an AR is actually EASIER to build and shoot - especially when making it out of scrap metals, or recycled plastic.
Even though I hated the AR I was ready to actually throw in a deep lake - they're both excellent platforms. A toast to Mikaihl and Eugene!!!!

The fact that we have to “fight” for a god given and supposed to be protected constitutional right makes me furious.
The battle has been brewing over the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution for years and it's directly linked to politicians and people in positions of power not taking their oath seriously. Every single time that unconstitutional gun control legislation is proposed, "We The People" should not have to feel the urgency to contact them (legislators) in order to remind them of their oath. The fact that we do, sickens me to my core. The 2nd Amendment is very clear, and its purpose has and always will be a bulwark against tyranny.
And it doesn't help that traditionally the gun lovers in this country have been utter retards. Like with Reagan and the NFA shit. It's only recently that gun owners have started to move away from stupidity

2. Pistol carbine (your crush), threaded barrels, etc. If you're waiting, get them before they're banned
3. OEM Factory made 9mm Glock Magazines over 10 rounds (maybe better 33 round high cap mags)

I know it's not on "the list" of items mentioned in this video, but it was a "crush" I've always had, so I snapped it up. Years ago I took the Thunder Ranch revolver course, had a ball & never felt under-gunned with a revolver (or two, or three).

An honorable mention would be a 3d printer. An ender 3 knockoff is about 150$ and can print lowers all day long. Yes, reliability is iffy depending on what the print conditions are, but with the printer you can always have more

What to get before a ban: a 3D printer. 😎
Home 3D printers can't make furniture without secondary machining, let alone internals. Unless you are making a fire it once and watch it blow up in your face like Brandon Herrera. 3D printers melt plastic to make items out of multiple layers of barely bonded strands with non stress relieved final parts. Prototypes sure, functional AND durable? Not even close yet.

@@privatelisting366 I totally concur with your point that not everything can be simply 3D printed and function right out of the gate (or hot plate, I guess).
However, this wasn't my point. As some have pointed out, you can still print lowers and other components that are quite functional. Otherwise, to the point of secondary machine, especially where metal parts are necessary, do that as well. Particularly with jigs and tools you can print or make yourself, expensive lathes and mills are no longer a must for some components (e.g. see "electrochemical machining", 3d printed 80% jigs, etc.).
And when calling out people in favor of 3d printing, keep in mind it's an evolving concept, and most importantly, they're ON YOUR SIDE in preserving and democratizing 2A. ✌🤙🖖

All the manufacturers he listed are completely out of stock on lowers. The 80% ones you find are just to get you on a list. The ATF will visit to explain why.
@@privatelisting366 I purchased several 80% lowers because I couldn't find any registered lowers in any gun ship, not even super overpriced ones. I hate how when I go on the internet to research stuff, people tell me not to go with 80% lowers because a completed lower costs just as much. It's like, have you seen the shelves?

I remember during the 94 awb, the prices of magazines initially skyrocketed..... but so many companies produced warehouses of product, prices quickly fell... to being even cheaper then before the van. Weird
That's part of the reason why I made this video. During the 94 ban I bought... ProMags. I think I paid around $40 a magazine for my Ruger p series. What a gigantic waste of money. I wanted to make this video so people won't make the same mistakes that I did.

@@fenomeno71 it's out at a shop getting the barrel cut down to 14.5", the brake pinned and welded to make it 16" overall (for legal reasons), a Jmac combo gas/front sight block installed, a Galil mag release and the lower handguard retainer removed since I'm using a semi-free floating handguard from SLR Rifleworks.

Better to buy some training and range time since A HUGE percentage of gun owners in America have "safe queens" they bought on a whim and then promptly stuck in a closet. Well really that bill shouldnt have been needed in the first place. Commerce law already protects the manufacturer in literally the same way that does and selling firearms is commerce. That was done as a ploy to be able to pull it if they wanted. What they should have done was rule that manufacturing firearms is a business and therefore commerce and therefore they are protected by commerce law as much as Ford or any other business

levers are a symbol of american heritage and freedom. over the last several years many have had quality control issues making older ones even more valuable. some hold many rounds, some,have detachable magazines, some are in excess of their planned caliber cut off limit.... not as many being made, less manufacturers, less younger people wanting them, theres plenty of reasons they will continue to rise.... scarcity is inevitable.
govt intends to ban them aswell.... the call on that will occur when you hear the term "assassin pistol" in reference to a revolver, anything 5 shots or more will be hammered on.
so no 4+1 or more tube fed levers...... if you comply.

Ive been investing in lever guns and hybrid shotguns (converts pump to semiauto) and 10mm handguns. And ammo. I'm lucky that one of my local gun stores usually has a decent selection of handguns, ARs, AKs leverguns and shotguns. Also they have some AR pistols. They always have some variety Ammo and I buy whatever they have in stock.

They will only be 'grandfathered' if you register them. Once the registration is complete, then the 'grandfather' clause will become confiscation.
That’s what they are trying to do in Canada. Mini 14 and AR 15’s now prohibited and need to be registered, surrendered (bought back with our tax dollars for less than they are worth) or deactivation.
Given how most politicians regardless of party want to disarm the public (no matter what they pretend), I appreciate the mostly neutral, fact based approach here.
