how, after recording, do you define separate midi channels for each line creating new tracks in Logic pro? The command given by Logic does not work
You must choose the notes of each line and copy/paste them onto a new track. For instance, choose the top notes of the original track, copy/paste them into a new track, repeat for each line, and then delete the original recording. This isn't always necessary, but it will allow you greater flexibility over the more expressive passages you wish to highlight.
Love the sounds but I can't get on board with Kontakt or iLok. IMHO, both are dinosaurs and always with hiccups. I wish you guys would create your own player. Orchestral Tools, Spitfire, and many others are ahead of the game here. Best of luck ✌
