    Yes, loved this retrospective of a phenomenal amount of work. Huge well done Nate and Jim for the latter stages of getting the joists in and sub floor down. Amazing amount of work and hopefully all the mould has gone. Thank you for sharing your journey.

    WOWZERS I’m just in awe of all the hard hard work you have done in just a few months already, and thank goodness for Jim for his helping hands and his knowledge to help you push on through. Looking forward in the next chapter of the farm house rebuild. Have a great rest of your day and you deserve a break from all that you have done.😊❤️💪👊👍😃

    Nate, ask Jim about his shop that he had built. That is what you are going to need soon for all the tools you bought to repair the house and all the extra lumber. You need a place for tools that chickens cannot roost on and do their business - a place you can start projects and be out of the weather. A place you can warm with a wood stove or cool with a window AC unit. On a homestead, a shop is a necessity not a luxury. If you get all the tools out of that carport, with all that extra space you could probably easily add an enclosed insulated brooder room. Take a drive over to Jim and Kathy's and check out their chicken house. Great job on all the work you have done on the house.

    Nate, I know it might be overwhelming right now, but, I’ve done the same thing you have done and also moved into a newly built home. Nothing is as satisfying as the home you spend so much time and effort into rebuilding. I love the house we are in here in Maryville, TN but it doesn’t compare to the house I spent so much effort into saving back home. You wont regret it. Keep up the good work and faith. One day soon you’ll be thankful you did. Thanks for sharing the journey with us!

    Please correct me if I’m wrong but I just noticed that I didn’t see any air vents in your crawl space/basement. I live in CA and we have a crawl space/basement/garage area. Ours has many vents about every 12’ feet in the crawl space area to help with air exchange and airflow. Of course we don’t have as much humidity as you do there but do you think you might need some venting to help with moisture problems?

    • @melindamckenry6368
      @melindamckenry6368 Před měsícem

      We have vents in our crawl space here in Oregon also. When it is cold and snowy, we have covers for the vents to keep the heat in.

    I know you guys have used wondercide for your dogs and my question is does this actually work? My dogs seem to be immune to all flea products that I have tried including non chemical ones. So before I invest any more cash just wondering if you can give me a heads up on how this is working and how do you apply it. like how often? Thanks for your videos.
