  • As you know i like to ride my bike around town and a couple weeks ago i built a small trailer for it to make transportation easier.
    • I made a Biketrailer f...
    The Trailer works great but i wanted another Storage Solution that is permanently attached.
    I designed it to be a platform and not a basket because it fits the shape of my bike better and it is a more flexible solution.
    i built it so you can securely attach a systainer, a beercase or a basket to it...or a passenger :)
    i will need to buy some bungees to make sure nothing flys off even if the bike tips.
    let me know what you think in the comments and subscribe and like if you enjoyed this video
    thank you for watching
    SORRY ABOUT THE DOUBLE LOGO IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER.
    i didn´t understand how to properly brand my videos and now i can´t fix that unless i take the video down and upload it again which would delete all the comments, likes and clicks.

    That came out great Laura! I've said it before but I'm saying it again, your projects are really awesome but your videos are down right great! You manage to capture everything beautifully, and show enough that I don't feel like I've missed anything, but not have a video that's like 15 minutes long. Bravo, Laura! Keep up the great work.

    Laura, your videos are so inspirational! I love how your style is so unique but still amazingly accessible.
    But please don't grind metal with a cutting wheel! They aren't meant to be pushed sideways onto metal and can shatter very easily. Get a flap disk for your grinder to clean up welds. Not criticizing your work, just want to see you stay safe!

    • @laurakampf
      @laurakampf  Před 8 lety

      +LovelessAndroid thanks for your kind words! about the safety...usually i use other disks for grinding. but i was out of them and i used the cutting disk. otherwise there would have been no video yesterday becuse the store was closed. please keep in mind that i know what i am doing. i get so many "safety tips" and to be honest this is a bit annoying...i know all these things and if i decide to work in a different way this is usually for a reason nd not because i don't understand that tools are dangerous.

    • @LovelessAndroid
      @LovelessAndroid Před 8 lety

      Laura, you are totally right. Stylized DIY channels such as yours should be treated as a "for entertainment purposes only" and not a step-by-step. YOU are the content creator, the entertainer. My apologies.
      I can only say in my defense that I wasn't trying to nitpick or warn people that your videos are dangerous, but I was genuinely concerned for your safety (and I don't think any of your fans want to see you get hurt over putting a video out on time).
      I know you don't know me, but I do feel like I've gotten to know you a bit after watching all of your videos and I really like you as a person. I think my comment would come across better between two people talking but as a CZcams comment it comes across as annoying and nagging.
      My apologies, I love your videos and hope to see many more! I am also incredibly envious that you can make a living doing what you do.

    Good idea on the fasteners for the handle bars! and the wood slats gave it a nice finish....
    the only concern I would have is that on the forty-fives for the top rack and the fork tabs got surface welded and then ground flat again not giving them very much weld holding them together afterwards. May I suggest giving the edges to be surface welded together a sight bevel so that you have a little fillet or groove to take the weld? even when the surface is ground flat... you will still have good penetration all the way through you edges.
