I like how when Tankman starts rapidly shooting at Skid & Pump, it looks like they're both laughing at him. Almost like they're taunting Tankman for thinking the bullets alone could work.

Rising Tension
Tankman released a tried sigh as he and his two colleagues made their way through the dense woods. The fog was especially thick tonight. Making it rather difficult to navigate the woods.
But thankfully Tankman and his peers had intimate knowledge on the direction they needed to trek towards to return to the base. And despite the fog bringing a rather ominous vibe to the area it was rather peaceful all things considered.
The only sounds out tonight were those of owls and crickets. This could be Tankmans opportunity to get some alone time with his thoughts. Since things have been rather stressful these past few months.
Since you know… the apocalypse and all that.
Finally Tankman stopped in his tracks and spoke up.
“Alright, you two go on a head, I’ll catch up in a minute”
This caused Steve to give Tankman a quizzical look.
“Uhh is everything alright Cap?” Steve asked confused
“Yeah I just need a minute to think is all” Tankman replied
“You sure Cap? It’s pretty dangerous to be alone out here. Especially with those things running around”
“Jeez Steve, get off my balls will you. I’ll be fine, and like I said it’ll only be a minute” Tankman retorted with a grin
Steve snorted before relenting. “Alright Cap just don’t take too long ok”
“Yeah yeah I won’t”
With the conversation over Steve and his other fellow soldier went ahead and disappeared into the vast fog.
At last by himself, Tankman began pacing around in a circle as he became lost in thought. ‘What was their plan long term’ being at the forefront of his mind.
When the virus initially hit, he and his men were able to fend them off rather well. Since bullets seemed to be rather effective initially against the infected, managing to drive many off. Hell they were even able to save a few of their men from the virus.
However keyword being initially. Since as the weeks and months continued on it became apparent that the infected were growing. They were becoming stronger, faster, and more durable each week. Which meant it required more resources to fend them off each time.
This leads into the next major problem.
Resources…
While things like weapons and ammo weren’t an immediate problem since their base was stocked to the brim. Tankman knew it wasn’t going to last forever. So he’d need to devise a plan to gather more when the time did come.
But they had a more immediate resource problem that needed solving. That being food, fortunately water wasn’t an issue thanks to their base being connected to a large reservoir underground that they siphoned from. But food was still a looming issue that was becoming more apparent by the day.
While he and his men did ration to the best of their ability it was obvious food was starting to run dry. And despite running multiple plans and scenarios through his head, all of them either ended in failure or were just to plain risky.
He couldn’t send out a large party to scavenge for food since that left the base too unprotected. But he also couldn’t send a small team out because that risked them not even being able to make it back safely or even gather enough.
‘Ugh fuck!’ Tankman cursed internally. Why did the apocalypse have to be so difficult to navigate!?
Tankman put a hand to his forehead as he let out another sigh. He supposed he shouldn’t let it get to him yet, he still had time after all. Besides he spent to long out here anyways.
But before Tankman could continue his walk back he noticed two pairs of glowing blue eyes from within the fog staring at him.
“Oh you have GOT to be kidding me!” Tankman yelled exasperatedly.
He knew he was gonna have to fight off against these things face to face sooner or later but really? Tonight of all nights?!
And it was a 2 v 1!?
Man…
This just wasn’t his day was it?

Gonna be honest I was expecting to get one more day for Skids week since he wasn’t as corrupted by the end as most other takes have him at.
But I suppose it makes sense. It was pretty obvious Skid was completely outmatched. So it was probably better to not drag it out more.
Great work, only problem is that it isnt night its day, takes place during a time of day called blue hour, but I don't blame you for not knowing good shit!
@@Tdog-dj5gu oh well that’s embarrassing 🗿. I’m so used to these days taking place at night or in dark places I kinda just assume automatically. Oh well I’ll just keep it night since it fits with the spoopy atmosphere or something lol.

But I’ll have to decline at least for now.
I’m already preoccupied with OLT and some other personal projects at the moment.
But who knows maybe later down the line I will.
Tankman I see. I suppose since he is shooting his gun, his allies might join him or more corrupted might get attracted to the noise. I wouldn't be shocked if Skid fell off Pump with all the dodging they are forced to do.
Also happy to see Mearest's week is later here. Hopefully she puts up a better fight than OG Corruption Mearest.

This episode was really good, Pixel did an amazing job on the tank man redesign and it was definitely unexpected that the spooners would show up. Only problem I had was the gun notes. The sound is quite jarring and just doesn’t sound nice in general, a good example being 2:00 . If it’s possible to change it to a quieter sound I think it would be quite welcomed.
Yeah, I realized that half way in uploading, hell the bullets were supposed to be not dodgeable but I was running outta time, so I said fuck it and uploaded it like that, the next day will be improved
